This is our first time exploring Busan, South Korea. It was a beautiful day going to Bokcheon Museum & Bokcheondong Tumuli (Ancient Tombs Trail) to see the history and culture of Dongnae. We explored Dongnaeeupseong Fortress and Hongbeopsa Templestay. It was also a perfect weather to check out Imnang Beach.

To mark the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War,... Busan Museum will hold a tour program offering visits to various museums and historical sites.
The 2020 Busan Museum tour program will be held once a month throughout the year, starting January 29th.
The walking tour will offer visits to the UN Peace Memorial Hall,... the UN Memorial Cemetery in Korea,... and the National Memorial Museum of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation.
The bus tour will visit the Bokcheon and Jeonggwan Museum as well as the Provisional Capital Memorial Hall.
Those who want to participate must pre-register online and it's on a first come, first served basis.

Today we try a local specialty in Busan: Dongnae Pajeon. Pajeon translates to green onion pancake. Dongnae is an area in Busan. We also stroll around the Dongnae Market (동래시장), which we learn was open since 1770! Making it 250 years old by the year 2020. A small confection shop attracts us with their handmade yakgwa (약과). The best I've ever had. Handmade treats wins over the machine-made ones in this case. We end the day with a trip to the contemporary art museum (a different one from a few episodes ago). 30초 박물관! (19) ~ 부산 복천동 금동관
가야의 금동관은 화려한 신라의 금관과는 달리 단순한 나뭇가지 모양입니다.
신라 금관의 ‘山’ 자 모양의 초기 형태처럼 보이는데, 금못으로 관테와 입식 가지를 고정시키는 제작 기법은 유사합니다.
하지만 신라처럼 금관은 없고 금동관만 존재합니다.
동래 복천동 11호 무덤에서 출토된 금동관은 얇은 관테의 가장자리에 물결무늬와 점무늬를 결합시켜 장식하고 있고 입식 가지에 3줄의 곁가지가 뻗어 있으며, 1~2줄의 달개를 달아 장식성을 더하였습니다.
그 외에 고령 지산리 32호 무덤에서 출토된 금동관이 있는데, 입식의 모양이 넓은 광배처럼 생긴 판에 옆가지가 좌우로 뻗어 있고 맨 위에 봉오리 같은 장식을 표현하였습니다.
본 전시품들은 상설전시실 1층, 3실에서 보실 수 있습니다.

Many people are excited about the prospect of 부산관 which is to exhibit articles from 조선 era to modern times, and to show the unique culture, tradition, and history of Busan.
As you see, Busan Museum is a place of rich history and culture of our ancestors.
While it is nice to enjoy a sunbath on the 해운대 learning little about history will be a valuable experience for anyone visiting Busan.
