New Forest Country Walk - Acres Down to Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary round
Our video is a guided walk in the New Forest, Hampshire. We start from Acres Down, Minstead near Lyndhurst and walk through some beautiful autumn woodland, using the cycle tracks, to the Canadian Memorial and Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary. As we return to Acres Down using the cycle tracks we were lucky enough to see ten of the pigs that had been let out to roam the forest to forage the acorns that have fallen from the oak trees which is referred to as pannage. This is an easy walk on forestry tracks with some slight inclines and declines. Approx 5.25 miles allow 2 hours using OS Explorer Map OL22, New Forest. Start: Acres Down Forestry Commission free car park near Newtown, Minstead.
NEW FOREST WALK : BOLDERWOOD (NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK)
Join me & my dog, Logan (the Whippet) as we take a walk around Bolderwood in the New Forest. As well as experiencing some stunning woodland we visit the Canadian Cross War Memorial, the Radnor Stone, the Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary and even come across an enormous Ants Nest!

I use an AKASO V50Pro Action Camera with an ISteady Gimbal together with a Canon SX 400IS.
Walk Route: From Bolderwood Car Park follow roadside verge to the Canadian Cross Memorial on your right. Swing hard left, across the road, and take gravel track (SW) downhill. Deer sanctuary on your left. Cross a cattle grid and continue further 350 yards. Turn left on to gravel track marked with red banded wooden post. Follow track for 300yrds then as it bends sharply right, turn left on to a narrower track between two more red banded posts. A few paces on, keep to left fork where post is banded red & green. Pass fallen tree (seen on video). Some 50 yrds further on, track forks at red & green post close to silted up pond. Fork right & continue for 100yrds to a junction marked by red & green post & wooden seat. Turn left up narrow path & pass Radnor Stone then on to Deer Viewing platform & car park. Dogs need to be kept on leads due to close proximity of deer.
New Forest Country Walk - Brockenhurst-Rhinefield-Brock Hill-Bolderford Bridge round
Our video is a guided walk in the New Forest in Hampshire. We start in Brockenhurst near the Snakecatcher pub and walk down Brookley Road through the main shopping area then head to Rhinefield Road. We turn off the road and walk to Brock Hill then make our way to Bolderford Bridge where we turn left and follow the river on our right back to Brockenhurst. This is a beautiful walk and we see lots of roaming forest ponies and wild deer. This is an easy to moderate walk on mainly good tracks with some forest road. There are only slight inclines and declines but the last part of the walk by Lymington River is unlevel. Approx 10 miles allow 3 hours 30 minutes using OS Explorer Map 22 New Forest.Start point: The Snakecatcher pub next to the railway crossing on the A337 at Brockenhurst.

New forest Country Walk Lyndhurst to Reptile Centre round
Our video is a guided circular walk in the New forest, Hampshire. From Lyndhurst we walk to Emery Down then make our way through the forest to the New Forest Reptile Centre. We return through the forest via Allum Green and picking up the Cut Walk. This is an easy walk on tarmac road, grass and gravel paths and tracks. There is some boggy ground and a shallow ford to cross, no bridge.
Elevation: approx lowest point 28m (91ft) approx highest point 84.50m (277ft) approx ascent 134m (439ft).
Approx 5.7 miles allow 2½ to 3 hours using OS Explorer Map OL22, New Forest. This walk is done anti-clockwise.
Start point: Lyndhurst, pay and display car park just off the A35.

New Forest Country Walk - Lyndhurst-White Moor-Mallard Wood-Beaulieu River-The Ridge round
Our video is a guided walk in the New Forest. We start in the village of Lyndhurst the Capital of the New Forest and walk down the High Street to the Forestry Commission car parks and Bolton's Bench and then make our way to the cemetery. We walk over White Moor to Mallard Wood, follow the Beaulieu River and on to Matley Wood then return to Lyndhurst via The Ridge. We film some great footage of a Stag and his Hines as well as a white stag and a white doe. We also see plenty of forest ponies.This is an easy flat walk over forest heath land, through woodland and beside the Beaulieu River on grassy paths and tracks. Approx 4.75 miles allow 1 hour 40 minutes using OS Explorer map OL22, New Forest. Start: Lyndhurst near the White Rabbit pub and hotel on Romsey Road (the A337). There are public toilets in Lyndhurst at the visitors centre situated in the main car park just off the High Street and for refreshments there are many shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Our video is a guided circular walk in the New Forest, Hampshire. Starting from Cadman’s Pool, north of Ringwood, we walk by Fritham Plain then through Amberwood and Alderhill Inclosures. We continue round Hasley Hill and return via Woodford Bottom, Broomy and Holly Hatch Inclosures. This is an easy walk over moorland and through woodland on grass footpaths and tracks. Some areas are boggy.
Elevation: Approx lowest point 49.70m (163.06ft) approx highest point 107.70m (353.35ft) approx ascent 215.20m (706.04ft)

NEW FOREST Coastal Walk - Keyhaven - Nature Reserve - Ferry - Hurst Castle round
Our video is a guided walk in the New Forest of Hampshire from Keyhaven through Keyhaven and Pennington Marshes Nature Reserve to Oxey Lake and return to Keyhaven. We then take the ferry to Hurst Castle and walk back via the Hurst Spit. We encounter wildlife and wildfowl and wading birds.

Our video is a guided walk in the New Forest in Hampshire. We walk from Fordingbridge to Woodgreen on to Hale then Godshill and back to Fordingbridge. On our walk we see lots of forest ponies and their foals, thatched cottages, a thatcher, some wildlife and wonderful scenery.

Didcot Hash New Forest Cycling Trip 2014 photos/video
From Holmsley Camp Site via Burley to lunch at The New Forest Inn at Emery Down, Ornamental Drive, The historic Knightwood Oak, then back to Witches Haven Burley for afternoon tea. Some fairly stiff hills and fast descents on gravel, concrete and tarmac. Only mishap occurred was when MisMatch fell off her bike while standing still!
The memorials you see include a fireplace commemorating a Portuguese Regiment and the New Forest WW2 Canada Cross memorial commemorating where open-air services were held for Canadian Troops soon to depart for D-Day

New Forest Country Walk Wootton Bridge Avon Water and Holmsley Station round
Our video is a guided circular walk in the New Forest, Hampshire. Starting from Wootton Bridge we follow the Avon Water to Holmsley Old Station Tea Rooms then return via Wootton and Wootton Coppice Inclosure. This is an easy walk on forest footpaths/tracks and some tarmac road. Some of the paths may be quite boggy and muddy in wet weather especially during the winter. There are some gates and a narrow bridge.
Elevation: approx lowest point 27m (89ft) approx highest point 65m (212ft) approx ascent 56m (184ft).
Approx 5.75 miles allow 2 to 3 hours using OS Explorer Map OL22, New Forest. This walk is done anti-clockwise.

New Forest Country Walk Beaulieu River from Pig Bush Car Park round
Our video is a guided circular walk in the New Forest, Hampshire. Starting from Pig Bush Car Park we walk across heathland to Yew Tree Heath and the Beaulieu River. We follow the river to King’s Hat Car Park then across heathland to Culverley Car Park. We return to Pig Bush, just over half a mile, via the B3056 road. We come across cattle with calves and many forest ponies some of them with foals.This is an easy flat walk on grass and gravel
footpaths/tracks which are faint at times and some tarmac road.
Elevation: approx lowest point 5m (16ft) approx highest point 28m (92ft) approx ascent 54m (186ft).
Approx 5.2 miles allow 2 - 2½ hours using OS Explorer Map OL22, New Forest. This walk is done clockwise.
