The postcard town of Cebu, Boljoon is home to the oldest remaining stone church in Cebu, the Nuestra Sra. Patrocinio de Maria Church. Declared by the National Historical Institute as a National Historical Landmark in the year 1999 and by the following year (2000), the National Museum declared it as National Treasure.
