Boneo Maze and Mini Golf, Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula
In this video Di visits Boneo Maze and Mini Golf on Melbourne's Mornington Peninisula.
Make your way through the maze, if you don't hit a dead end. Search for the fairy kingdom in the gardens or have a picnic in the gardens. And make sure you you have a mini golf challenge.
The adventure park is also included in your entry where you can zip line, play on the waterslide, rock climb and go for a paddle in the lake or do a few somersaults while bouncing on the large trampolines.

Searoad Ferry - Queenscliff to Portsea and Boneo Maze and Mini Golf
The family and I decided to take the Searoad Ferry across Port Philip Bay from Queenscliff in the west, across to Portsea in the east on the Mornington Peninsula! Another gorgeous day in Melbourne with the sun shining and hardly a cloud in sight.
The trip takes roughly 40 minutes and there's a cafe on board along with a small play area for the kiddies. The upper deck has some great views, perfect for all the selfie fiends on Instagram.
We decided to visit the Boneo Maze and Mini Golf in Fingal once we made it across and we checked out the sand sculptures with Peter Pan as the theme, and there were some other great activities to do to entertain the family, such as cycle boats, mini golf and the hedge maze.

Peter Pan Sand Sculptures Exhibition
Every year for over 15 years, Sand Sculpturing Australia run by a husband & wife team, share their love and passion for sand sculptures, by holding an annual event over Christmas, showcasing large scale sand sculptures created by artists from around the world.
The theme of the Sand Sculptures, changes from year to year but are usually based on kids toys, fairy tales, dinosaurs, or famous personalities. Such as in early 2018 it was based around Aladin.
This year it’s based around the free-spirited and mischievous young boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan.
Now unlike the sand castles you build on the beach with your kids with beach sand, these sand sculptures are artistically moulded out of a special sand mix, and turned into huge life size structures, that can be as large as 8 to 15 feet tall. Which last for at least 2 months of the year during the annual festival.
The only thing I personally did not like about the display, was that for the last 10 years it had been held in a very accessible and popular location on Frankston beach, but this year was moved to a remote location in the country side, miles from any beach at Boneo Maze.
But regardless of that it was still a very impressive display.
Thanks for watching
