Dive Site Spotlight: The Wall of Bonne Bay
One of Rick and Debbie's favorite sites, the Wall in Bonne Bay, near Norris Point in Gros Morne National Park, is the crown jewel of West Coast Newfoundland diving.
It's 296 feet to the bottom, but there's plenty to see at recreational depths.

David Shears - Hills Of Old Bonne Bay - HD
David Shears - Hills of Old Bonne Bay
David Shears, a musician, singer, songwriter, composer from the Gros Morne region of Newfoundland, Canada wrote this song that touches the heart of many Newfoundlanders living abroad.
Gros Morne National Park is located in the Long Range Mountains that form the northernmost section of the Appalachian chain on the eastern seaboard of North America. Wildlife in the park includes lynx, black bear, caribou, arctic hare, marten and moose. The coastal region supports whales and sea ducks including the Harlequin Duck.
Prominent features of Gros Morne include the tablelands where a section of the Earth's mantle is exposed at the surface and Western Brook Pond, a fresh water fjord carved out by glaciers during the most recent ice age
I would like to thank David for allowing me to use a selection from his CD along with his sister, Julia for providing much of the content.

Trails, Tales and Tunes - Gros Morne National Park
By Peter Bull, Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism
This spring my family & I drove to Gros Morne National Park to take in the Trails, Tales and Tunes Festival. Trails Tales and Tunes happens for 10 days in May every year in Norris Point. What a backdrop for a festival! We had a great weekend listening to a lot of fantastic musicians like AcaBella, Daniel Payne and Richard Neville. We just happened upon Daniel and Richard jamming at the Cat Stop. The guys really got into the tale told by Elinor Benjamin at the Bonne Bay Marine Station. The marine touch tanks at the station were also hit with the lads. In between shows we did some hiking to the lighthouse in Lobster Head Cove and along the shoreline of Norris Point. What a fantastic weekend!
