The Bonnet Island Experience - An authentic Tasmanian penguin tour
Departing from Strahan in western Tasmania, the The Bonnet Island Experience is one of Tasmania's most amazing penguin tours. leave the Strahan Esplanade one hour before sunset in the MV Sophia and cruise to Bonnet Island with a small group (maximum 11), guide and driver. Enjoy Tasmanian cheese, wine and beer while the sun sets over the ocean, before stepping shore to watch the little penguins return to their burrows. An outstanding natural experience. Penguins on Bonnet Island Tasmania
Tasmania Scratchy & friends.
This is my first video, its for a good friend. On my travels around Tasmania i was lucky enough to come across a few fury friends at Stanley on top of the The Nut. At Strahan at my hotel 2 very friendly & cheeky possums wanted to have dinner with me or should i say My dinner for 2 nights. I named the adult Scratchy, she got a little too close, my fault. Enjoy!

Rats Castle, Tasmania
THIS IS AN OFF TRACK WALK. DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT PREVIOUS BUSHWALKING EXPERIENCE. Rats Castle (named after the alleged use of it as a lookout and base for bushrangers) is a mountain (also an Abel) in the Central Highlands of Tasmania. Access is off the A5 (Lakes Hwy/Highland Lakes Road). If you enjoy your rock scree, don't miss this walk, there's plenty of that! I had good fun on this walk, which took just under 4 hours return.
