Sake Festival!!! Yes, a day where you can go around a try out different sake all for 500 yen. Cheap right!?!?!
So as I mention numerous times in the video, I DO NOT encourage drinking. It's not something to be taken lightly. It can be serious.
Now that's been said, it was definitely a new cultural experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed myself :) The food was also very tasty xD

Thanks for joining in again to the Taste Tour everyone - this is yet another international episode, this time from right along the Sumida River in Tokyo, Japan! This is us trying out a local, craft brew - Baird Beer Wabi-Sabi, what they call a JPA or Japan Pale Ale...as they say, however, more of a mix between pale ale and IPA! This brew comes in at 6% ABV, and the website description states:
Seasonal Baird Beer - Wabi-Sabi Japan Pale Ale
Wabi-Sabi is a uniquely Japanese and hybrid version of the craft beer world’s two most popular styles: Pale Ale and IPA. Local Japanese wasabi and green tea are combined deftly with several varieties of herbal-character hops. The flavor is bold, yet underpinned by a ‘quiet simplicity and subdued refinement.’
