Masao Hanging Bridge and Bood Promontory Eco Park - Butuan City, Philippines VLOG #20

Henry is so excited to show me this hanging bridge and has been asking to take me there for awhile now. Today we had great sunny weather, so we hopped on his Suzuki 115 and headed out to the Masao Hanging Bridge and Bood Promontory Eco Park.
I'm so glad I went, and I can't wait to go back and show Marilou! If you're ever in Butuan City, and you're looking for something to do, head out to the bridge and eco-park! What a beautiful place! Crossing the bridge was amazing, and on the other side I felt like I was in the jungle.

Layag Educational Trip IV - Bood Promontory Eco Park

Now they climb and cross through the Bood's promontory in the commemoration of the first planting of Ferdinand Magellan's cross after the first mass on Easter Sunday in 1521.

This educational trip help promulgate the Filipino seafarers' identity enriched with cultural heritage and legacy from the past by tracing the history behind the Balangay boat in Butuan which implies the Filipino expertise in sailing, proving them that Filipinos are naturally born seafarers even before the epoch of foreign colonization.
