Exploring Cornwall - St Michaels Mount, Lands End, St Ives, Padstow and everywhere in between
Exploring Cornwall - St Michaels Mount, Lands End, St Ives, Padstow, Polperro, Fowey, Godrevey and everywhere in between.
Our plans for the year were to bookend the country - Lands End in the summer and John O'Groats in the winter. I'd been told that if we were lucky with the weather then Cornwall offered some of the most beautiful beaches and scenery around. For the weeks leading up to our trip the weather was awful but that all changed literally days before we departed.
We stayed in a cottage called Meadow Drift in Lostwithiel which was exquisitly perfect. Quiet, luxurious and run by incredibly informative hosts who gave us copious information on where to go, what to see and what to avoid. We spent the week happily ticking off their to do list. If this sounds like your kind of trip then you can check it out here -
