In coordination with Bora Bora’s Ministry and the Delegation of the Environment, a team is devoted to the care of the marine turtle at the resort. This care center, located in the heart of the resort, is unique in French Polynesia.
The Kaïnalu Canoe Club is also unique to Le Méridien Bora Bora, which is the first hotel to reintroduce this traditional French Polynesia boat. Bora Bora is a small South Pacific island northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. Surrounded by sand-fringed motus (islets) and a turquoise lagoon protected by a coral reef, it’s known for its scuba diving. Bora Bora Airport boat transfer to Vaitape
When arriving in Bora Bora, many travelers take a boat shuttle directly to their resorts. For those that want to reach the main island of Bora Bora there is a free shuttle service run by Air Tahiti from the airport to the main dock in Vaitape. The boats leave for Vaitape village about 20 minutes after your flight arrives and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the marina in Vaitape.

BORA BORA | Paradise Vacation | Intercontinental Le Moana Resort 2019 ????
This was our first experience in Bora Bora,. We have been planning this trip and watching all the videos with hopes that our experience would be just as exciting and memorable. Well it was and we absolutely loved it!! I tried my best to capture the feeling that we had during our 10 day stay. Snorkel dives, StingRay feedings, black tip reef sharks, kayaking, beautiful coral fish, even a moray eel nesting under our overwater bungalow. It was AMAZING to wake up to the gentle waves under our room. The food was outstanding and the shows were incredible!! We cant wait to make our way back and visit more islands!
We love the sun and water and we try to make sure our holidays consist allot of both!! We are vacationing more now and placing more emphasis on traveling the world and experiencing different cultures.
