How to Get There
The fastest way to get to Boracay is by plane. There are two airports you can land in.
*Via Caticlan Airport
*Via Kalibo Airport
Transport Description: Motorized tricycle ride from Caticlan Airport to Caticlan Tabon Boat Terminal (10 minutes). Small outrigger boat from boat terminal to Boracay Island (10 minutes). Then pay P100 for another motorized tricycle to anywhere within Station 1, 2 or 3.
You will be required to pay a Terminal Fee of 100 pesos, Environmental Fee of 75 pesos, and Boat fee of 30 pesos before you could enter the port.
Things you need to know:
*Only 19,000 tourists are welcome to stay on the island at any given time
*Only around 6,000 tourists per day are allowed to enter the island
*Tourists may be required to present hotel reservations before entering the island
*No smoking and alcoholic beverages along White Beach (main beach area of Boracay)
*Dining on the beach is prohibited
*Beachfront parties are now banned
*Sand castles (a big attraction in Boracay) will be regulated
*Shops and hawkers/peddlers are banned from peddling their goods on the beach
*Fire dancing with kerosene lamps are prohibited
