Borer's Falls - hamilton Ontario
Borer's Falls is a 15 metre high ribbon-style waterfall found in the Borer's Falls Conservation Area in Dundas, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.[1] Its source is Borer's Creek. A very picturesque waterfall featured on many Hamilton waterfall postcards over the years. Named after the Borer family who ran a sawmill for over a century. This mill was the lifeblood of the village of Rock Chapel. Also known as Rock Chapel Falls.[2] The area is a hiker's haven and also an ice-climbing destination in the winter when the weather is cold enough to freeze the Falls.
Caution: The Bruce Trail passes by the edge of Borer's Falls and presents a hazard to people with young children, as there is a poorly marked high vertical drop inches from what appears to be the trail; unless one reads a small sign directing you to walk on the road.
The Niagara Escarpment is a long escarpment, or cuesta, in the United States and Canada that runs predominantly east/west from New York State, through Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. It is composed of the Lockport geological formation of Silurian age, and is similar to the Onondaga geological formation, which runs parallel to it and just to the south, through western New York and southern Ontario. The escarpment is most famous as the cliff over which the Niagara River plunges at Niagara Falls, for which it is named.

Experience Websters Falls - Dundas, Ontario - September 1, 2012
Webster's Falls is a curtain waterfall 22 metres in height. Located at the Spencer Gorge / Webster's Falls Conservation area in Greensville, its source is Spencer Creek. It is one of two falls within the Spencer Gorge, and with a crest of 24 metres, it is the largest in the region. It is also probably the most popular and widely known fall in Hamilton, and has the biggest park associated with a waterfall. According to Joe Hollick, Webster's Falls has the highest number of vintage postcards bearing its image, suggesting that it was also the most frequently visited waterfall a century ago as well.

Niagara Escarpment Hermitage Falls Spring Trail, Dundas Ontario
With a height of 3.5 metres (12 feet) and a crest width of 2.5 metres (8 feet) Hermitage Falls enchants rather than overwhelms. Located beside the Hermitage gatehouse in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area, modest Hermitage Creek provides an irregular flow for its cascade, so spring run-off provides a better show. Accompanied by guitarist Will Ackerman performing his composition Light and Song, the images are bookended with quotes by Lao-Tzu.
