WALNUT CREEK, CALIFORNIA. LOCAL TOWN VIDEO TOUR - Contra Costa County, USA
Visit my webpage:
Walnut Creek serves as a hub for the neighboring cities within central Contra Costa County, due in part to its location at the junction of the highways from Sacramento and San Jose (I-680) and San Francisco/Oakland (HWY-24).
Walnut Creek has its own BART station and is the home to Broadway Plaza which is an open-air shopping center with notable department stores (such as by Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy’s ) and more than 35 retail stores. Boundary Oaks and Diablo Hills golf courses are located in Walnut Creek. There is also another private golf course in the gated neighborhood of Rossmoor which is an “active adult” community for residents 55 years or older.
Walnut Creek also owns more open space per capita than any other community in the state of California. Walnut Creek residents may attend schools in 5 public school districts. Finally, Mt. Diablo State Park’s north gate entrance is found in Walnut Creek.

Island Style Bohemian Boudoir Photographer | Big Island, Hawaii | Behind The Scenes Video
I'm so in love with this bridal boudoir photoshoot it's ridiculous! I enjoy photographing boudoir so much because I get to inspire women to feel more confident and feel really great in their bodies. Boudoir can be as sexy or as modest as any woman feels comfortable, and representing her in classy, creative and unique ways are also my top priorities so that her personality shines!
We begin our photoshoot with Maddie modeling bridal boudoir at the Marriott hotel, then we move outside on one of the beautiful beaches on the Big Island of Hawaii with more boudoir and a lot of fashion with both Maddie and Angelina.
We incorporated lots of colorful fruits, very uniquely shaped coral I found while exploring, sea shells, a DIY bouquet, an acoustic guitar and ukulele to maintain as authentic to our location as possible.
Enjoy!

NPS Port Chicago 2009 Synopsis
This is the synopsis of a six part YouTube video series on the National Parks Service commemoration of the 65th Anniversary of the Port Chicago Explosion held on July 18, 2009. People were turned away from the commemoration due to limited space. The commemoration is significant of the courage of African Americans during WWII and the contribution to civil rights. During the program many survivors and their families shared memories of the event. In addition, political representatives gave an update as to current efforts to right the wrongful mutiny convictions and give honor to the men who served with dedication. The National Parks website for the memorial site is: nps.gov/poch

Twin Ponds Loop Trail (Lower)
This Trail is very fun for riding down and only down. If you are willing to walk your bike up for ten minutes and ride down for four, this the best trail for it in the walnut creek open space. Riding this trail in the summer with the creek flowing and the trees and bushes grown in, it feels like your riding in a rain forest.
This trail has a cliff and lots of little bumps you can turn into jumps. Watch out for the blind turns because of hikers and horses.

You might want to slow down.
Chattanooga is activating three new speeding cameras today.
Police say the cameras are going in some of the city's most dangerous spots: one on Mountain Creek Road near Red Bank Elementary, one on Norcross Road in Hixson, and another on Germantown Road between I-24 and Brainerd Road.
Accidents on those roads are about double the state average.
The city's new cameras come just a month after county officials were slammed with complaints about proposed speed cameras - and voted against them.

Supporters of the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts are protesting non-stop at the Hamilton County Courthouse.
CSLA students and faculty have been asking for a new building for at least 25 years.
Last week they were told no once again, as Mayor Jim Coppinger proposed spending money on other schools instead.
A new building for CSLA would cost about $40 million dollars.
But supporters say the magnet school doesn't have a big enough voice in the county, because students come from every district, instead of just one.
Protestors plan to remain outside the courthouse tomorrow. They vow to stay there until commissioners vote on whether to accept Coppinger's proposal - on Wednesday.

Cremation is gaining a lot of ground in Tennessee and Georgia, according to a new report from the cremation association of North America.
Georgia is the second-fastest growing state for cremation in the United States, and Tennessee ranks fifth in the nation.
About 30 percent of deaths in Georgia and Tennessee result in cremation - that's double what the rate was seven years ago.
Locals attribute the trend to three factors - a population influx of people with different beliefs, families who fear they might move away from a permanent grave, and more people unable to afford - a traditional funeral.

Georgia has passed a major bill expanding the places where gun owners can bring their weapons.
The new law will let churches and bar owners decide if they want to allow people to bring guns inside their buildings.
The bill will also let residents hunt with silencers, and it protects people who accidentally bring weapons to airport security checkpoints.
Finally, the bill also states that the governor can no longer take people's guns away during a state of emergency.
The bill now awaits the signature - of Governor Nathan Deal.
