बोरी वन्य जीवन अभयारण्य मध्य प्रदेश के होशंगाबाद ज़िले में स्थित है। यह 518 वर्ग किलोमीटर के क्षेत्रफल में फैले सबसे पुराने आरक्षित वनों में से एक है। यह वन्य जीवन अभयारण्य सतपुड़ा पर्वतश्रेणी के उत्तरी सिरे पर स्थित है।
राष्ट्रीय पार्क का इलाका अत्यंत दुर्गम है। और इसके अंतर्गत बलुआ पत्थर चोटियों, संकीर्ण घाटियों, नालों और घने जंगलों के इलाके हैं।
इस अभयारण्य में अधिकाशंत: सूखे पतझड़ी वन पाए जाते हैं, जिसमें टीक, धाओरा, बांस, तेंदु मुख्य रूप से पाए जाते हैं यहां ऐसी अनेक झाडियां और लताएं हैं जिन्होंने इस आरक्षित वन की सुंदरता को बढ़ा दिया है। इस अभयारण्य के विभिन्न पेड़ पौधे अनेक जीव जंतुओं का आश्रय है जैसे बाघ, , हाइना, भेडिए, जंगली कुत्ते और भारतीय लोमड़ी, चीतल एक्सिस, सांभर, नील गाय, चिंकारा, गेज़ल, जंगली बिल्ली और चार सींग वाले एंटीलॉप, इन सभी को प्राकृतिक अधिवास में घूमते हुए देखा जा सकता है।

The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. The altitude ranges from 300 to 1,352 metres (984 to 4,436 ft). It has Dhoopgarh peak as high as 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) and the almost level plains of Churna.
The nearest town to the national park is Pachmarhi and the nearest railhead is Piparia 55 kilometres (34 mi) away. The state capital Bhopal is 210 kilometres (130 mi) away.
Satpura National Park is very rich in biodiversity. The animals here are tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, Indian muntjac, nilgai, four-horned antelope, chinkara, Gaur , wild boar, wild dog, bear, black buck, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, Indian giant squirrel, etc. There are a variety of birds. Hornbills and peafowl are common birds found here.The flora consists of mainly sal, teak, tendu, Phyllanthus emblica, mahua, bel, bamboo, and grasses and medicinal plants. In previous years, there have been sightings of lions, elephants, wild water buffalo and barasingha, although these are rare.

To reach Satpura National Park, one has to cross river Denwa by boat and boating is a great way for crocodile sighting at Satpura National Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
Denwa River is the lifeline river of Satpura National Park. This river originates from south-eastern part of the Hoshangabad district in Madhya Pradesh State and flows east to west direction before joining the Tawa river at south of Rainpur. At the confluence of Tawa & Denwa river, the Tawa dam has been constructed. River offers number of activities to visitors. While boating on Denwa River one can enjoy the scenic beauty of Satpura National Park with bird-watching and sighting of marsh crocodiles. In order to enter the Satpura National Park Safari, tourists have to cross the river through motorboats. All these rivers are tributaries of holy Narmada river known as lifeline of Central India. It's an ever-green river assuring availability of water to wildlife nestling in this forest.

About Bhopal:-
Bhopal is the capital city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and the administrative headquarters of Bhopal district and Bhopal division. The city was the capital of the former Bhopal State. Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes for its various natural as well as artificial lakes and is also one of the greenest cities in India. It is the 17th largest city in the country and 131st in the world.
Bhopal has an average elevation of 500 metres (1401 ft). It is located in the central part of India, and is just north of the upper limit of the Vindhya mountain ranges. Located on the Malwa plateau, it is higher than the north Indian plains and the land rises towards the Vindhya Range to the south. The city has uneven elevation and has small hills within its boundaries. The prominent hills in Bhopal are Idgah hills and Shyamala hills in the northern region, Katara hills in southern region. City's geography has in it two lakes namely upper lake and lower lake. Bhopal lies in the West Central Railway Zone. Considering both North-South and East-West train routes, it is one of the most rail connected cities in India which halts more than 200 daily trains, with a total of more than 380 trains within a week. The main stations of Bhopal are the Bhopal Junction station located in old Bhopal as well as Bhopal Habibganjstation located in new Bhopal. Both of the stations are equipped with WiFi, has enough waiting halls, refreshment center, passenger ticket counter and ticket vending machines, vehicle parking, communication facility, sanitary facility and dedicated Government Railway Police force to ensure security. Altogether the city has six railway stations within its city limits.
The Bhopal Junction station as well as Bhopal Habibganj station are selected along with 47 other railway stations to emerge as The World Class Railway Station. While the work has already started on development of Bhopal Habibganj as the first world class railway station of India. About Itarsi:-
Itarsi is a town in Madhya Pradesh, India in Hoshangabad District. Itarsi is a key hub for agricultural goods and is one of the earliest railway junctions in Madhya Pradesh. Rail services from all 4 major metropolitan cities of India namely Mumbai to Calcutta and Delhi to Chennai pass through Itarsi.Itarsi is developing and in future Itarsi is a part of Hoshangabad Itarsi got its name by eeta(eent), (literally means brick in Hindi) and rassi, (literally means rope in Hindi). Bricks and ropes had been made earlier in itarsi. It has Ordnance Factory. The Bori Wildlife Sanctuary and Tawa Dam are nearby.
Itarsi is one of the major junctions in India, at the crossing of important east-west and north-south routes. Itarsi comes under West Central Railway zone whose headquarters is in Jabalpur. Itarsi is connected via broad gauge lines to Bhopal and Delhi to the north, Bhusawal and Mumbai to the west, the railway junctions of Nagpur to the south and Jabalpur to the east. Rail services from Mumbai to Guwahati and Delhi to Chennai pass through Itarsi. 250 trains are daily passing through. Itarsi runs one express train —Vindhyachal express — and it runs three passenger trains in Jabalpur route daily. Itarsi is the busy railway station in Bhopal division. The new platforms 6 and 7 opened for Jabalpur, Nagpur and Bhusawal routes.
Apart from railway, National Highway (NH-69) connects Itarsi to major cities Bhopal and Nagpur. New Four lane roads are under the making in to be functional under 5 years. Four Duronto Express trains have technical halts at Itarsi.

The animals here are tiger, leopard, sambar, chital, Indian muntjac, nilgai, four-horned antelope, chinkara, Gaur , wild boar, wild dog, bear, black buck, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, Indian giant squirrel, etc. There are a variety of birds. Hornbills and peafowl are common birds found here.The flora consists of mainly sal, teak, tendu, Phyllanthus emblica, mahua, bel, bamboo, and grasses and medicinal plants. In previous years, there have been sightings of lions, elephants, wild water buffalo and barasingha, although these are rare.

Satpura National Park is located in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh in India. Its name is derived from the Satpura range. It covers an area of 524 km2 (202 sq mi). Satpura National Park,along with the adjoining Bori and Panchmarhi wildlife sanctuaries, provides 1,427 km2 (551 sq mi) of unique central Indian highland ecosystem. It was set up in 1981.
The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. The altitude ranges from 300 to 1,352 metres (984 to 4,436 ft). It has Dhoopgarh peak as high as 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) and the almost level plains of Churna.
The nearest town to the national park is Pachmarhi and the nearest railhead is Piparia 55 kilometres (34 mi) away. The state capital Bhopal is 210 kilometres (130 mi) away.
