Iron Age Village on Isle of Lewis
We visited the Outer Hebrides and took a trip to the west coast of Lewis to visit the Iron Age village at Bostadh. The weather was beautiful, the beaches glorious and the machair in full bloom. The music is Duncan Chisholm playing The Farley Bridge from his Farrer album.

Exploring Scotland - Lewis and Harris, Hebrides tour
We travel to the island of Great Bernera, off the coast of Lewis. On the island is a fantastic reconstruction of a late Iron Age/Pictish circular house. We also visit the island's museum to view artefacts from the excavation at Bostadh, and learn more of the sociology of island life.
100 Great Scottish Pubs - The Clachaig Inn
The Clachaig Inn is a fabulous place to eat, drink and enjoy the beauty of Glencoe. It has accommodation, three bars, a varied menu and is very welcoming to hill walkers, climbers, tourists and locals alike. For theses reasons I have put it in my book '100 Great Scottish Pubs' - which is available from Amazon. I hope you enjoy the video, and the book!
