Kagoshima, Japan - Riding the Kagoshima City Trams (2019)

The Kagoshima City Transportation Bureau (鹿児島市交通局 Kagoshima-shi Kōtsūkyoku) is a public transportation authority of Kagoshima City, Japan. The bureau operates trams and bus lines. From April 1, 2005, together with Nangoku Kōtsū and JR Kyūshū Bus, the bureau introduced RapiCa, a smart card ticketing system.

The bureau was founded in 1928, by taking over Kagoshima Electric Tramway, a private company. The tram line itself existed from 1912.

Kagoshima (鹿児島市 Kagoshima-shi, Japanese: [ka̠ɡo̞ɕima̠]) is the capital city of Kagoshima Prefecture at the south western tip of the island of Kyushu in Japan, and the largest city in the prefecture by some margin. It has been nicknamed the Naples of the Eastern world for its bay location (Aira Caldera), hot climate, and emblematic stratovolcano, Sakurajima. The city was officially founded on April 1, 1889.

I had lots of problems with overheating the motor. It was 32C on that day and the surface was very hot ( I would say close to 50C. Hot enough that I couldn't put my beare knee on it :)

고치 현 고치 시다. 고치 시에서는 고치 성이 가볼만하다고 한다. 고치 성을 향해 언덕을 올라갔다. 웅장하게 보이는 고치 성의 돌담은 비가 많은 날씨를 고려해 배수성이 좋은 돌들로 지어졌다고 한다. 1601년 축성을 시작해 1611년 완공됐다. 성 안으로 들어가 봤다. 입구에 먼저 그림이 보였다. 성주였던 야마우치 가스토요와 아내 치요다. 치요는 가난했던 남편에게 명마를 사주어 훗날 고치 성의 성주로 만든 내조의 여왕이었다. 치요의 이야기가 NHK 드라마로 만들어졌을 때 치요 역을 맡은 배우가 입던 옷이다. 성주가 거주했던 곳인 혼마루다. 혼마루가 온전히 보존된 곳은 고치 성이 유일하다고 한다. 정원들도 깔끔하게 정돈돼 있었다. 성의 최상층인 천수각으로 올라가는 중간에 이처럼 모형을 전시해 성 축조 당시의 상황들을 쉽게 이해할 수 있게 해준다. 1727년 발생한 화재로 소실되기 이전의 고치성을 재현해 놓았다. 나무로 만든 가파른 계단을 통해 성의 상층부로 올라가 보았다. 일본 성들의 사진이 전시돼 있었다. 가파른 계단을 끝까지 올라 가장 높은 곳인 천수각에 다다랐다. 아래로 고치 성의 담장이 내려다보였다. 고치성의 정문인 오테 문이다. 고치 시가 한눈에 내려다 보였다.

SKILL Concept - Project 28 Drift69's Ehime DOGO

This week I tried to show a wounderful part of my Matsuyama City, DOGO. Dogo Onsen,
the oldest hot spring in Japan, is proud of its 3,000-year history. The Main Building, the symbol of Dogo spa resort, completed in 1894 (designated as an Important Cultural Property) is surrounded by many hotels and traditional Japanese-style inns, Haikara Dori shopping arcade, Botchan Karakuri Dokei Clock/ Footbath and beautiful park that use to be a ZOO.
I took my car through and around those placeses to show you a little piece of Japan.
At the end I did some real drifting at the DOGO Park. I hope you will enjoy it and

In this video I went to visit my buddy Rikdawg to his home-town, Imabari. Together with Maddawg Matt and his little pup we visited Shiminomori park and did some drifting there. The surface was bit rough, but still the scenery was great and the weather couldn't be better. I hope you can enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed making it.

Wisata Jepang : Berpetualang di kastil Matsuyama, Ehime, Jepang

Kastil Matsuyama, berlokasi di prefektur Ehime dan merupakan salah satu kastil tradisional Jepang yang langka. Hanya tersisa 12 kastil di Jepang yang masih utuh dan selamat dari peperangan pada masa pemerintahan Feodal.

Karena berada di pegunungan Katsuyama, wisatawan bisa menikmati pemandangan kota Matsuyama dan laut pedalaman Seto dari halaman kastil ini. Terdapat sekitar 200 pohon sakura ditanam di halaman, itulah sebabnya halaman kastil sering digunakan untuk acara Hanami pesta mekarnya bunga sakura) yang diadakan pada musim semi dari akhir Maret sampai awal April).

Kastil Matsuyama awalnya dibangun antara tahun 1602 dan 1628 dan merupakan milik dari keluarga Matsudaira (salah satu kerabat penguasa Jepang, Shogun Tokugawa) pada 1635.
Namun, kastil bertingkat lima asli hancur akibat petir dan direkonstruksi pada tahun 1820 namun hanya tiga tingkat saja.

Honmaru sebuah kastil jaman feodal yang merupakan bagian utama pertahanan kota terletak di atas bukit. Akses menuju Honmaru adalah melalui beberapa gerbang yang masih dijaga dan dipertahankan dengan sangat baik sampai saat ini. Wisatawan dapat melihat sejarah dari Matsuyama dan berbagai informasi tentang pemerintahan masa feodal dalam kastil.

Jam buka : 9:00 to 17:00 (sampai 16:30 pada bulan Desember dan January; sampai 17:30 pada bulan Agustus). Kunjungan terakhir 30 menit sebelum tutup.

Meskipun kastil terletak di atas bukit curam, namun disediakan fasilitas kereta gantung yang menjadikan akses menuju kastil menjadi cukup mudah. Pengunjung dapat melihat pemandangan bukit yang indah dari kereta gantung.

Bagi pengunjung suka berpetualang bisa mencoba mendaki ke atas bukit dari stasiun kereta gantung atau taman Ninomaru Garden, makan waktu sekitar 15 menit.

I took a trip for 3 days to Toyama City in Japan's.
I got on the tram at Toyama. It is called the PORTRAM.
It has an official nickname Portram, after port (Toyama Port) and tram.
PORTRAM train are carriages of the residents in local communities.

This railway used to be operated as a single-track local line.
(the frequency of service is once every one to two hours)
The number of passengers on the train has decreased.

It was modified for tram services and reopened on April 29, 2006.
These trams are operated at 15-minute intervals in the daytime.
The number of passengers further increased thanks to the synergistic effects of the above.

The entire route of the Hokuriku Shinkansen linking Tokyo to Kanazawa via Toyama will opened for business on March 15, 2015.
