Our first time travelling together as a bunch! Loved every part of our adventure in Yogyakarta. Went on a jeep, held Mel's pee in a bottle to keep us warm, went tubing in a tehping river, froze on an active volcano (Mount Merapi), had yummy street meals like locals, ended the trip with a shiok Javanese massage.
Never knew how untouched this place is in terms of tourism. Majority of the locals couldn’t speak English, didn’t really see many international tourists, and didn’t know it’s a prime destination for domestic tourists! Love it. Can’t wait to explore more countries with this bunch of bestest friends. :)
CHEAP Indonesian MARKET FOODS + PADANG Feast + Yammie Noodles: Yogyakarta, Indonesia

So much amazing food to come from this artsy, college, food packed city!
I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without my friend Andre. Andre is one of the most influential food bloggers in Yogyakarta and surrounding areas. You can find his work in places like:

We started the morning off in a morning market where I thought it was a good idea for a double plate breakfast, but I clearly didn’t know what Andre had in store for the day. After that we walked the market and continued to snack on various things you can find.
After that, we headed out to another market. This time a market with a much larger Chinese influence as we ate some Indo-Chinese dishes before setting off for some Chinese-Indo noodles.
The noodles were fabulous and really hit the spot. Nice and meaty with a kick of sweetness. However, I quickly changed that as I dumped a bottle of chili sauce in my bowl. Also the fried wontons were light, greasy, and oh so crunchy!
After a quick break, we finished the day off eating at a Padang restaurant. One of my favorite meals ever! I just love Padang style meals so much. I loaded mine up with an assortment of goodies, but made sure to get my favorite, Beef Rendang. To say it was magical would be an understatement.

(TRIPREPORT) Garuda Indonesia Economy Class Flight Experience: GA201 Yogyakarta to Jakarta (CGK)
First of all, sorry I missed the boarding scene due to my SD card problem. And sorry for the typo at 8:18 ~ that's my computer's autocorrect that made the typo.

A trip onboard Garuda's Boeing 737-800NG on a short hop from Jogja to Jakarta.
I have checked in online and I proceeded straight to the bag drop. The process was no hassle and I was called directly to the boarding gate.
Onboard the plane I was greeted warmly by the crews. Soon after that, we immediately took off, and note that they no longer serve welcome drink due to cut cost.
The meals fits my tummy: a bread, a bottle and some peanuts. But I ended up eating those at the final destination, as I'm quite full at the time.
The seat pocket contains looked attracting and nice.
The IFE however, was the big letdown: it only turned on at the last 15 mins of the flight. However the IFE got a lot of music, movies, and TV shows, enough for me.
The crews were, as a 5 star standard should be, friendly and warm. They're just a bit nervous when I take a picture with them.
Overall, despite the IFE problem, I would surely fly GA again, and they're my top recommendation in Indonesia. There is a bonus in the last minute of the video, please check it out!

FILIPINO RIDES KA LODAYA | Amazing Train Ride From BANDUNG - YOGYAKARTA W/ MASTER RISANG
Hi guys. Got the chance to meet the master of Indonesian Railway Risang! We went to Yogyakarta from Bandung by KA LODAYA. It was a nice experience traveling with the master. I learned a lot from him in terms of making youtube videos especially if your content is all about ransportation like trains. He taught me about the sequence to be considered in making a full video. Aside from that, I was really amazed with the view from Bandung to Jogja. I cant really imagine that Indonesia will give you an awesome feeling after you see the beauty of its nature and landscape. The landscape along the way was undeniably BEAUTIFUL!! Which i never see that in the Philippines. Truly Indonesia is a blessed country! And I know I will keep on coming back!
