Craft Beer Travel Guide | Drinking My Way Through Denver | Craft Brewery Tour
After GABF I had a full day to check out some of the amazing breweries in Denver, Colorado. Of course I couldn't visit all of them, so many breweries but so little time and little me. Let me know in the comments which breweries I should check out on my next trip to Denver! Have you been?
Here is the list of breweries I went to:
Cerebral Brewing - had some amazing stouts
Bierstadt Lagerhaus - super fun spot with traditional German style beers, must get the slow pour Pilsner!
Our Mutual Friend - super cute spot with a range of delicious beers
Black Project - home to my favorite beer of the day
Trve Brewing - metal and beer, unique spot and a cool vibe.

4K City Walks: Boulder, Colorado -Colorado University Tour - Virtual Walk Treadmill City guide
4K City Walks: Boulder, Colorado -Colorado University Tour - Virtual Walk Treadmill City guide is a simple free tour around the University of Colorado - Boulder Campus. The drive to from Boulder to Denver takes about 45 minutes and the city is up against the Flatiron range and also home to CU Boulder. It’s a large campus with lots of different departments. It was a pleasant late morning as I wandered around the campus trying to find the most interesting building and colleges. I found the stadium of the Bufs which wasn’t hard to find. There’s still a fair amount of the campus that I didn’t see but hopefully this provides a nice walking video for your treadmill session and/or provides a nice taste of what to expect from the campus. I'd love to hear your thoughts and stories about Boulder in the comments below.
This Boulder walking tour video was filmed on a DJI Osmo Pocket.

Wikipedia:
The University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder), colloquially referred to as CU or Colorado, is a public research university in Boulder, Colorado. It is the flagship university of the University of Colorado system and was founded five months before Colorado was admitted to the Union in 1876.
In 2015, the university comprised nine colleges and schools and offered over 150 academic programs and enrolled almost 17,000 students. Twelve Nobel Laureates, nine MacArthur Fellows, and 20 astronauts have been affiliated with CU Boulder as students, researchers, or faculty members in its history. The university received nearly $454 million in sponsored research in 2010 to fund programs like the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics, and JILA.
The Colorado Buffaloes compete in 17 varsity sports and are members of the NCAA Division I Pac-12 Conference. The Buffaloes have won 28 national championships: 20 in skiing, seven total in men's and women's cross country, and one in football. Approximately 900 students participate in 34 intercollegiate club sports annually as well.
On March 14, 1876, the Colorado territorial legislature passed an amendment to the state constitution that provided money for the establishment of the University of Colorado in Boulder, the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, and the Colorado Agricultural College in Fort Collins.
Two cities competed for the site of the University of Colorado: Boulder and Cañon City. The consolation prize for the losing city was to be home of the new Colorado State Prison. Cañon City was at a disadvantage as it was already the home of the Colorado Territorial Prison. (There are now six prisons in the Cañon City area.)
The cornerstone of the building that became Old Main was laid on September 20, 1875. The doors of the university opened on September 5, 1877. At the time, there were few high schools in the state that could adequately prepare students for university work, so in addition to the University, a preparatory school was formed on campus. In the fall of 1877, the student body consisted of 15 students in the college proper and 50 students in the preparatory school. There were 38 men and 27 women, and their ages ranged from 12–23 years.
During World War II, Colorado was one of 131 colleges and universities nationally that took part in the V-12 Navy College Training Program which offered students a path to a navy commission.

Scenic Boulder Colorado - Lefthand Canyon
Boulder, Colorado and Lefthand Canyon, site of the 2012 Pro Cycling Tour. The scenic land along the race course and all of its trails are abused, littered, burned out dumps. There have been 5 man made fires along the course since March of 2011 in virtually the same spot. Piles of trash, appliances, TVs, old furniture hauled and shot to bits sit among thousands of beer bottles and cans and accumulate year after year with only minor symbolic cleanups. It is a horrible course as far as presenting Boulder to the nation and world. Unseen from the road are the worst horrors and abuse, that is another subject all together. Forest Service management has been shameful and neglectful. If it were not for the daily clean up efforts of volunteers the bottles and broken glass on the side of the road would make it far too much of a hazard for anyone to safely bike in the area. Cyclists leave horrible gel packets and Cliff Bar wrappers all along the course.

RedHead Ale Rocky Mountain Brewery Colorado Springs Colorado
The Brew Bro's Beer Review's Sean and Richard with special guests PaPa Bob from Colorado, Trader D and QC Rob look, smell, taste and rate the RedHead Red Ale from Rocky Mountain Brewery from Colorado Springs Colorado. This Awesome Ale was a pleasure to look at and taste. A Great Beer but be careful, at a 7.25 ABV it could really sneak up on you.
Redhead
Watch out for our Redhead. This tempestuous lady has a sassy attitude with up-front bitterness and a delicious citrus and herbal hop flavor. With a smooth malty finish and a hint of spice, she will leave you begging for more. Mountain IPA Hops, hops and more hops! This lady has a BIG up-front bitterness, lots of citrusy grapefruit flavors, and a complex citrus and spicy aroma. Hopped with Challenger, flavored with Columbus and Simcoe, then finished with Columbus, Simcoe, Willamette and Crystal. At 7.25%abv, this sassy lady brings lots of flavor and lots of attitude.

Peaks N Pines Brewing Co: Sean's Colorado Beer Tour Ep1
Welcome to the first installment of our journey around the many breweries of Colorado! I asked my friends if any of them would be interested in trying to go to every brewery in Colorado and a few said yes. We don't claim to be experts on beer, but we'll learn as we go. We start our Journey at the Peaks N Pines Brewing Company in our home town of Colorado Springs.
All commentary is purely based on the opinions and tastes of the people who came along. Just because we didn't like something doesn't mean it's not good.
