Started out slow but after we left trail and hit the creek it was way more fun! Not a bad little spot, we saw next to no one out there. I'd go again :)

Bragg Creek Hamlet Aerial Video Tour 2018
The Hamlet got hammered in the flood of 2013, but, five years later, we're back and as good as ever. Lots to see and do here - great food, good times, art and fashions. Gift shops, homes to buy, aboriginal arts and crafts, motorcycle and bicycle sales and services. Health and wellness is yours through Yoga, Pilates, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic care and Health foods. If you can't find what you're looking for, go to the General Store, they've got lots of cool stuff. The grocery is a wonderful mix of basics and delicacies. Bars, booze and ice cream, we've got that too. All a short drive from Calgary. Oh - not to mention 100s of kilometres of trails, facilities and awesome scenery in West Bragg Creek and Kananaskis. Bragg Creek Visit - 2017
Take a tour of Bragg Creek to see what it it's like to live. work and play here. We live hidden in the forested foothills of the Rocky Mountains, 40 minutes west of Calgary, Alberta. The community has an interesting history, influenced by the Elbow River and the wild lands that surround us, providing a venue for outdoor adventure that sustains us and those who come to visit.
Spring at Bragg Creek Provincial Park (4K) | Journey Alberta
On a solo day trip, I travel to Bragg Creek Provincial Park, just on the outside of the hamlet of Bragg Creek. The area is located roughly 40 minutes west of Calgary. There I started my time in the park by having some lunch at a picnic table. There are many picnic tables at the park, including a couple fire pits. There were 2 parts to the park, one was grassy, and one was more of the natural vegetation. I suspect the grassy area would be great to throw around a frisbee with others when I come back out here. You can even walk down to the Elbow River, where damage from the 2013 flood can still be seen nearly 3 years later.

Scott almost clipped a Pheasant riding down behind me, and had one of them follow him down a little way. This guy just wouldn't leave our side!
We tried to bring her back where we may have found it.

BRAGG CREEK, ALBERTA: Travelling to Elbow River campsite during Spring 2018
Kananaskis Peter Lougheed Provincial Park Camping (4K) | Journey Alberta
Today I go camping for a night in the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park section of Kananaskis Country! I camp with my Mom and her boyfriend Ken at the Boulton Creek Campground at site D-120/D-121. On our first day it rained a lot so we spent some time at the visitor center in the park, exploring the building. When the rain stopped, we headed to the North Interlakes Day Use area to do a short hike by the shore of the Upper Kananaskis Lake. Our second day takes us to the Elbow Sheep Wildland where we do the hike to the Rae Glacier! It takes us past the backcountry campground at Elbow Lake, and then up towards the glacier for an amazing hike.
