Khajuraho Brahma Temple
85 temples once adorned the city of Khajuraho. This does not seem to be an improbability in view of the numerous ruins round about Khajuraho village, extending far and wide. Most of the temples are, however lost except for nearly thirty which withstood centuries of neglect and the catastrophies of Nature, and still stand erect to tell the glory that was Khajuraho.
Brahma, Beejamandal & Ghantai Temples...Khajuraho series (6)
Brahma Temple is located on the banks of Khajur Sagar or Ninora Tal. It is constructed in 900 AD. Today this shrine is called Brahma, but it has a four-faced Shiva linga in the Sanctum and the lintel above the sanctum door clearly indicates that it once was dedicated to Vishnu. The projection on the east contains the entrance with Ganga and Yamuna at the base. Beejamandal Temple near the Chaturbhuj temple is in ruins now. But from the remaining structure it can be seen that the temple had highly decorated exterior walls. Beejamandal is located in Jatkara village, Khajuraho, that has not yet been fully excaved and explored. There is a tradition of lighting a holy lamp in this temple by villagers staying near the temple every night inside the temple complex. The Ghantai temple is Constructed between 950 and 1050 AD.
The name of the Ghantai temple is derived from the beautifully carved figures of chain-and-bell, also known as ghanta, on its tall and huge pillars. The walls of the temple are beautifully decorated with display of 16 dreams of Mahavira's mother. The temple also has a stone carved image of Mahavira's mother, which is represented as a multi-armed Jain goddess hovering on a winged Garuda.
Lakshamana Temple...Khajuraho series (8)
Lakshmana Temple in Khajuraho is categorized under the Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh). This well-preserved temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. According to the inscription, Lakshmana Temple was built a Chandela ruler by King Yasovarman in the 10th century A.D.Its framework comprises an entrance porch, a mandapa, antrala, maha-mandapa and garbha graha. The most interesting attribute of the temple is the sanctum which is in the form of a chariot also referred to as the Pancharatha. The sanctum enshrines a three-headed and four-armed image of Vaikuntha Vishnu with a human central head and the side-heads of boar and lion. This Vishnu image was brought from Tibet. The pradkshina path is around the sanctum and is decorated with sculpture all over it. The Lakshmana Temple faces east and the temple stands on a platform which has sculptures depicting court scenes, erotic sculptures, marching armies, elephants and horsemen in procession. The temple's architecture is simply marvellous and its exterior wall exhibits images of over 600 figures. The temple is beautifully decorated with sculptures and the full figures of different forms of women with ornate jewellery.

Brahma Temple India Has Very Few Temples For Lord Brahma. Here Are The Reviews, Photos
The temple at Pushkar may well be the most famous one in the world dedicated to Brahma but it certainly isn’t the only one. It is however the oldest temple dedicated to Brahma. Legend has it that Brahma, when compared to the other gods was a lot more lenient and would bless his devotees whole-heartedly. There were several instances when he’s bless devotees with boons without considering the repercussions of his blessings. He is said to have blessed demons from Hiranyakashipu and Mahishasur to Ravana, causing them to torment people and several gods too. Due to this Vishu and Shiva would have to take control of situations and kill the demons with their various avataras. Since Brahma continued to be lenient, people stopped worshiping him and instead offered prayers to Vishnu and Shiva.Another legend states that Brahma created a lady deity, Shatarupa, one with a hundred forms. As soon as she was created, Brahma was infatuated by her and followed her everywhere in order to pursue her. However, she tried avoiding him for as long as possible. But Brahma was adamant enough to give himself five heads. One in each direction — north, south, east and west and the fifth head above the others. Since Shatarupa was considered to be be Brahma’s daughter, Shiva cut off Brahma’s fifth head as an incestuous relationship was not considered to be appropriate. Since then, Brahma has is believed to be the ignored one among the trimuthi, Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. However, over time, Brahma is said to have sought repentance and forgiveness and several other temples were built and established to worship the creator, Brahma. Here are few of the most revered Brahma temples in India. The Brahma Temple located near the Pushkar Lake in Ajmer district of Rajasthan is one of the most visited Brahma temples in India. In the Hindu month of Kartik (November), pilgrims visit the temple and take a dip in the lake and offer prayers to the deity.

Why there are so few or literally no Brahma temples in India, why no one worships Brahma?
Why there are so few or literally no Brahma temples, why unlike Vishnu & Shiva very few or literally why no one worships Brahama . I know there are a handful like in Pushkar but isn't it curious why they are so few temples of Brahma i mean basically we can ask why there is no temple of brahma who is part of the trinity of Brahma Vishnu Mahesh but brahma is not worshipped & finds for itself so few places of worship & not so popular among deities. There is a myth about Brahma & Saraswati associated to explain this, however the real reason why this has happened in India is based upon a very real historical & geographical phenomenon that occured in the very region that was considered the home of Brahma The Brahmavarta. These events not only changed the status of Brahma as a praying deity but also changed the course of history of the entire civilisation. So let's explore the answer to the question of why are there so few temples of Brahma (basically why Brahma has no temples) and why is brahma not worshipped that much.

Khajuraho, India: The Western Group of Temples
It is definitely possible to get templed out at Khajuraho which is why guides take visitors to the best temples; Lakshman, Mahadeva, and Varaha, all completely different. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is considered one of the seven wonders of India, second only to the Taj Mahal and is primarily known for its erotic sculptures.
There are several theories why there are erotic sculptures. Briefly, Tantric sexual influence; Workmen who lived in an isolated atmosphere and carved their sexual urges; and to test the purity of worshippers as they walked around the temples.
Whatever, better writers than I have described them in detail. Go, gawk and wonder, How many people are in that position?
