A grand afternoon walk, first ascending the cliff to the East of Branscombe followed by a decent into the Hooken landslip and back to base camp, there was defiantly a sighting of a troglodyte high up in the cliff, I wouldn’t walk there at night if I were you because you might end up on some Neolithic smorgasbord, liver, kidneys, sweet breads, black pudding, and stake, all human, you!

So I put the call out a couple of weeks ago on Outdoor Swimming Society ????????♀️????????♂️????????♀️group and asked if anyone’s swimming in the Devon sea on good Friday.
Today after much anxiety, worry, doubt and nerves I drove to Branscombe to this beautiful beach and met two lovely people John and Maddie from South West Dippers. Maddies son also joined us. Such a lovely little boy.
My anxiety was mostly about me hating my body and having to bare all in public. Being in the sea naked was not an issue at all. So after many years of covering myself up with clothing i faced my fears and did a group skinny dip!
I had my doubts, but it was fantastic. I did feel strange being naked on the beach, but once in the water all was well. After all it is my favourite place to be!!
So yes. I did it. Took on another mind over matter challenge and rocked it. Well done me and thanks to John and Maddie for the great company. big thanks To John for organising it!
