Day Trip to the Zoo! Full video with Black Bears Fighting - Brantford Twin Valley Zoo
We spent a day at the Twin Valley Zoo in Brantford, Ontario. It's a really nice little Zoo, which was perfect for small children.
Description from:
Brantford Twin Valley Zoo offers an exciting and educational adventure!
Built on 25 beautiful acres in Brant County, Brantford Twin Valley Zoo is a great place to observe a collection of native and exotic animals maintained in natural surroundings.
Since it’s inception in 1991 the goal of Twin Valley Zoo has been to provide a place for families to enjoy the outdoors in a quiet and clean environment.
Come visit the animals, bring along your lunch and enjoy our picnic area, and take a stroll on a short nature trail (less than 1km long) in our 5 acres of woodland.
There’s no better way to learn about the wonderful animals of this world than to experience them up close and in person. Our goal at the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo is to create an enjoyable environment where children (and adults) can learn about animals of the world. Through this we aid in educating people about the importance of wildlife and the environment.
During observation of the wide assortment of animals at the Zoo, children can learn about the animals’ adaptations (like the stripes on a zebra), needs (type of food they eat), and characteristics (fur or feathers). Our educational presentation lets children experience some smaller animals and babies up-close. The knowledgeable Zoo staff explain how certain animals change as they grow, their natural habitats, and why they are important to that habitat.
Make the Zoo become the extension of your child’s classroom!
