Bream Head Scenic Reserve is a fantastic walking and hiking destination and is located at the Whangarei Heads peninsula, northeast of Whangarei City.
A variety of tracks passes through some unique coastal forest in the North Island and the tracks have all recently had a major upgrade.
At the Bream Head summit which is 480 m above sealevel, you can enjoy a magnificent coastal panorama and for the truly brave ones, it is possible to climb right to the top for a aweinspiring 360 degree view!!
