Photographing Bluebells at Tiddesley Wood | Pershore Worcestershire | Geoff Moore Photography
Join me as I search for Bluebells to photograph at Tiddesley Wood nr Pershore in Worcestershire, UK. On this adventure I share tips on polorisers and composition considerations when trying to photograph Britain's favourite wild flowers.
The bluebell is one of the ‘indicator species‘ of ancient woodland, meaning woods that have been in existence since at least 1600; the Woodland Trust considers that some bluebells may even mark remnants of the original wild wood that covered Britain after the last Ice Age.
Filmed entirely on a Google Pixel 2 XL this is my second vlog to date and I hope you enjoy. Lots of things to learn, and I hope my video production will continue to improve.

Trekking from Worcestershire Parkway to Worcester Shrub Hill by InterCity Express Train Class 800. The Hitachi built InterCity Express Train (IET) is an Electro-Diesel Multiple Unit. Here it is running under Diesel power, it probably was using the 25kV ac overhead electrication from London Paddington to the Thames Valley before switching off the juice (electric) and going by diesel.
The new station being built on line of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway (OW&WR) and the Birmingham & Gloucester Railway. The OW&WR was part of the West Midland Railway which merged into the Great Western Railway (GWR). The line since British Rail has been marketed as the Cotswold- Malvern Line. The line be lower line is the Birmingham & Gloucester Railway which was then absorbed into the Midland Railway (MR) which became part of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS). Since British Rail was part of the Cross Country Route.
Here can be seen the upper OW&WR line and the Birmingham & Gloucester Railway below. The line heading northwards extends to Birmingham New Street seen here and underneath to Gloucester then to either Cardiff Central or Bristol Parkway, Bristol Temple Meads for example.

DEVELOPMENT AND LOCATION INFORMATION...
A haven for those who love the outdoors, particularly walkers, cyclists and nature lovers, this charming village combines the best of rural living with the essential trappings of town life thanks to nearby Tewkesbury. All of this can be enjoyed with the advantage of a location that offers excellent schools within the catchment area.
Bredon offers excellent amenities, including a doctors' surgery, post office, village hall, and playing fields. The village enjoys a close-knit community feel, with a variety of activities focussed around its local sports clubs – cricket, lawn tennis, bowling and sailing – and, of course, the river and local marina. Tewkesbury is just three miles away, a historic riverside town with mediaeval streets, independent shops and the beautiful and imposing Tewkesbury Abbey. In addition there are equally attractive towns in the area such as Evesham, Pershore and Cheltenham.
Tewkesbury acts as a gateway to the motorway network, and the area also provides convenient rail links to the north and south, in addition to a direct service to London (from Evesham and Cheltenham Spa). This is a rare opportunity to enjoy stunning open countryside: rural England at its best.
