Bremangerlandet is an island in Bremanger Municipality in the traditional district of Nordfjord in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The 153-square-kilometre island is the largest island in the county. The highest point on the island is the 889-metre tall mountain Svartevassegga, however the cliff at Hornelen, located 1 kilometre to the east, is more well-known and has an elevation of 860 metres . The 4-kilometre long lake Dalevatnet is located in the central part of the island.The island is located northeast of the smaller island of Frøya. Bremangerlandet island lies on the southern side of the mouth of the large Nordfjorden and the island of Vågsøy lies on the north side of the fjord's mouth. The small island of Husevågøy lies in the middle of the fjord, just north of Bremangerlandet. The island is connected to the island of Frøya by a series of bridges. There is a ferry connection to Husevågøy and Vågsøy islands to the north. There is also a road that connects Bremangerlandet to the island of Rugsundøya by the Skatestraum Tunnel . To the southeast, the island is separated from the mainland by the Frøysjøen strait. The main population center on the island is the village of Bremanger, where Bremanger Church is located. The 0.65-square-kilometre village has a population of 366, giving the village a population density of 563 inhabitants per square kilometre . The village of Berle is located on the eastern side of the island, and it is home to Berle Church.

Nature has given Husevåg the perfect location. The island is at a latitude of 62ºN, sheltered well from the ocean to the west, and right on the shipping route. Husevåg is the ideal place from which to go angling, diving, bird-spotting and
hiking. In the far west, you can experience the stormy seas.

Husevågøy is a beautiful island in Vågsøy Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The 9.2-square-kilometre (3.5 sq mi) island is mountainous with few trees. The island lies in the mouth of the Nordfjorden, between the islands of Vågsøy and Bremangerlandet. There are only about 30 residents and 70 inhabitants on the island.

There is a car ferry that runs from the town of Måløy to Husevågøy and then on to Oldeide on Bremangerlandet.

Dette er direkte forts. fra del.1, som ble lagt ut for lenge siden av mine egne private opptak. Vil komme mye historie her utover, fra Hurtigrute turen som snart er 28 år gammelt.

Hornelen kommer med i slutten av del.1, men turen fortsetter videre derfra i del.2. Den ligger på Bremangerlandet i Bremanger kommune i Sogn og Fjordane fylke. Båten går gjennom Skatestraumen og videre til Måløy.
Måløy by ligger i Vågsøy kommune i Sogn og Fjordane.

Easter was a nice time to get away from everything and just relax. Me and my girlfriend went to a beach we had been told about. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and so far it`s the best diving location I have been to so far. The white`ish sand and the blue colour made it feel like I was diving near the equator. This area was large and shallow, and small islands of rock in the sand bed was covered with large kelp. Looking forward to dive here again sometime.
