About the video:
The best way to get to the main part of Brera is by train. Take the Garibaldi station.
From there you can walk into Corso Como where the famous concept store, 10 Corso Como, resides. They sell high price items at about €1000 per item.
There are also some interesting stores in this square. For example, Roberto sells cashmere scarves at a reasonable price.
Follow via Garibaldi into the quiter part of town. Here you will find some vintage and interesting stores offering Italian designed and made clothing, jewellery and accessories. For example, Gum handbags and Vitti Ferria Contin jewelery store.
I found a market in Via San Marco that is open on Thursdays and Sundays. It has fresh local produce, designer brands for lower prices, vintage handbags and cashmere scarves.

Places to see in ( Milan - Italy ) Brera District
Places to see in ( Milan - Italy ) Brera District
Brera is a district (quartiere) of Milan, Italy. It is located within the Zone 1 (the historical core of the city) and it is centered on Brera street. The name stems from Medieval Italian braida or brera, derived from Old Lombardic brayda (often Latinized as praedium), meaning a land expanse either cleared of trees or naturally lacking them. This is because around the year 900, the Brera district was situated just outside Milan's city walls and was kept clear for military reasons. The root of the word is the same as that of the Dutch city of Breda's name and the English word broad.
Brera houses the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and the Brera Art Gallery, which prominently contributed to the development of Brera as an artists' neighborhood and a place of bohemian atmosphere, sometimes referred to as the milanese Montmartre. Both the Academy and the Gallery are located in Palazzo Brera, the main historical building of the area; this same building also houses Milan's botanical garden as well as an astronomical observatory and the Braidense National Library. Other features that contribute to the character of Brera include restaurants, bars, night clubs, antique and art shops, colorful street markets, as well as fortune tellers' booths.
From 1998 to 2002 novelist Paolo Brera, along with Franco Brera and Francesca Brera, edited and published the magazine Brera, devoted to the Brera district. Well-known journalists, art critics and fiction writers contributed over the years, including Rossana Bossaglia, Giuseppe Pontiggia, Guido Vergani, Vittoria Colpi, Carlo Castellaneta and Giulio Signori.

Milan Nightlife in Italy
Taking a stroll through Via Monte Napoleone, the most expensive street in Milan with shops as Armani, Prada, Rolex & Gucci.
I highly recommend going to the Brera district bars or near Mocova station.
As for clubs I recommend THE CLUB which had a better vibe going than Byblos.
Don't be fooled at Byblos Milano
- 30 Euros entrance (~43 CAD)
- 20 Euros per drink (~29 CAD)
... insanity

Via Brera is a street in the center of Milan, which crosses the district of the same name from north to south. It is considered one of the most characteristic of the city, both for the presence of the Pinacoteca di Brera building, and for some characteristic local historians that overlook this street.
Brera – Neighborhood – Milan | Audio Guide | MyWoWo (Travel App)
Brera is one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of Milan!
The Brera district will definitely be one of the areas of Milan that will most fascinate you thanks to its cobbled streets, ancient palaces, hidden gardens, and literary and artistic atmosphere influenced by the main Art Gallery and the Academy of Fine Arts. I'd also like to point out two interesting Gothic churches in the district, Saint Maria del Carmine and Saint Mark's.
Go for a nice stroll among the restaurants with outdoor seating, the most refined and unusual fashion boutiques, antique dealers, and stores specializing in fine arts, and you'll uncover secret treasures. Stop in to see the small, lovely Botanical Garden, which can be accessed either from inside Brera palace, or from the back on Via Fratelli Gabba. This beautiful garden for studying plant species was re-opened to the public a few years ago and offers a very unusual scenario in the city's historic center. If you look up while inside the Botanical Garden, you can see the metal dome of the eighteenth-century astronomical observatory, which houses a collection of antique instruments.
