Places to see in ( Dortmund - Germany )
Dortmund is a city in Germany’s North Rhine-Westphalia region. It's known for its Westfalen Stadium, home to the Borussia soccer team. Nearby Westfalen Park is marked by the Florian Tower, with its observation platform. The Dortmund U-Tower is topped by a huge letter U and houses Museum Ostwall’s contemporary art exhibits. Rombergpark botanical garden has local trees and greenhouses with cacti and tropical plants.
Football (soccer) is a major Dortmund passion. Borussia Dortmund, the city’s Bundesliga (premier league) team, has won the national championships an impressive eight times. So it's actually quite appropriate that Dortmund was chosen as the site of the German Football Museum, which opened in 2015. Other attractions include several treasure-filled churches and high-calibre art museums.
As the largest city in the Ruhrgebiet, Dortmund once built its prosperity on coal, steel and beer. These days, the mines are closed and the steel mills quiet, with more zeitgeist-compatible high-tech industries having taken their place. Only the breweries are going as strong as ever, churning out oceans of beer and ale, much of it for export.
The city popping up first when people think of the Ruhr valley and that's no surprise. Being the largest Ruhr City, it is also the third largest by population after Cologne and Duesseldorf and the geographical center of the State North Rhine-Westphalia . Worldwide the City is foremost know for Beer (pale export/lager beer called Dortmunder) and the famous sports club Ballspielverein Borussia 09, Borussia Dortmund or BVB fort short. However, the city is so much more than the reputation (Football, Beer and Industry) and has itself no need to shy away from the Cities on the Rhine. And yes, the city is no classy beauty and rough at first glance, though pretty honest, adorable and cordially at the second.
Founded around 882, Dortmund became an Imperial Free City. Throughout the 13th to 14th centuries, it was the chief city of the Rhine, Westphalia, the Netherlands Circle of the Hanseatic League. After the Thirty Years' War the city was destroyed and decreased in significance until the onset of industrialization. The city then became one of Germany's most important coal, steel and beer centres. Dortmund acquired the nickname Stahlstadt (Steel City) in the 19th century, when it became the world center of steel production. Consequently the city was one of the most heavily bombed cities in Germany during World War II. The devastating bombing raids of 12 March 1945 destroyed 98% of buildings in the inner city center. This bombing raids with more than 1,110 aircraft was a record to a single target in World war II.The region has adapted since the collapse of its century long steel and coal industries and shifted to high technology biomedical technology, micro systems technology and also services.

Places to see in ( Dortmund - Germany ) Dortmunder U
The U-Tower or Dortmunder U is a former brewery building in the city of Dortmund, Germany. Since 2010 it has served as a center for the arts and creativity, housing among other facilities the Museum Ostwall. It was the first high-rise built in Dortmund, between 1926 and 1927. The Union Brewery used this building for the fermentation and storage of their products.
In 1994 the brewery and all its surrounding buildings were closed and demolished; only the Dortmund U-Tower was spared due to having landmark status. In January 2008 the Dortmund U-Tower was decided to be redeveloped as a flagship project for the Ruhr 2010 – Cultural Capital of Europe. Today it is considered one of Dortmund's central places, in which creative catering and event facilities are offered.
The Dortmunder U shows artworks from 20th and 21st centuries, develops innovative concepts of cultural education in the digital age, initiates partnerships between art and science, and cooperates with different players in the context of creative industries. As a centre of international caliber in North Rhine-Westphalia it is a partner for regional as well as international projects and collaborates with other international institutions in the interdisciplinary field. The U will embody an innovative practice at the intersection of art, research, creativity, cultural education and economy.
It is a public place for research and study as well as for the experience and the discourse over art, media and today's culture for all citizens and ages. The U is based on a cooperation of diverse users of the U-Tower building: the Museum Ostwall, the Hartware MedienKunstVerein, the Cultural Office of the City of Dortmund, the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the TU Dortmund University, the European centre for creative economy (ecce) and the association U Cinema, operating the RWE Forum. Culinary offerings are provided for on the U7 floor by the restaurant View.

(Universität Bayreuth).

Bayreuth is located in eastern Germany, on the territory of the federal state of Bavaria. The city has been known since the 12th century. The city suffered several times from plague epidemics, and in 1430 it was destroyed during the Hussite Wars. The golden age of Bayreuth came during the reign of Margravine Wilhelmine, the eldest daughter of the Prussian King Frederick William I. She built several parks and castles that have survived to this day and largely determine the appearance of the modern city. The development of the city was greatly influenced by the opening of the University (Universität Bayreuth) here in 1975.
Among the interesting places of Bayreuth, it is worth highlighting the historical center of the city, which is built up with Baroque architecture; family house-museum of the composer Richard Wagner, Margrave opera house, local university, New Rococo palace, Hofgarten park - a masterpiece of gardening art of the Baroque era, The Hermitage - Margraves suburban residence, which is located in a beautiful wooded area. In the city you can visit the Maisel's Brewery Museum, the Rohrensee Zoo, the Fantaisie Palace - the summer residence of the daughter of Margravine Wilhelmine. The city hosts the famous Bayreuth Music Festival every summer.

Bergen Expressen,Norwyan, the most enterteining of all - 4/4
Enviado por CONSULTORIO MÉDICO FLORES BUISSON- MÁNCORA - PERÚ
The Bergen Expressen is a motorized train with automobile wheels that takes you from the city center to various parts of the city. The tour starts at Bryggen. The train drives along the small lake Lille Lungegaardsvann and through the old city gate. The leprosy is a contagious disease produced by Hansen's bacillus (Mycobacterium leprae), discovered by Gerhard Armauer Hansen; in honor to this one, it is named technically A Hansen's disease. The tour goes on past Hansa Brewery and up to the hillside road Fjellveien, where you will get a beautiful view of Bergen. A brief stop will be made at he Fjellhytten (the Mountain Hut). The best part is the tour into the residential areas high above the city....several of the photos of the city and bay were taken during the short breaks that the driver allows for photo shoots. In Hitler's birthday there was a great explosion through the fault of the German soldiers. After a ten minutes break, the train heads back to the city centre on small roads past Mariakirken, King Haakons Hall, and the Rosenkrantz Tower, in order to reach the point of departure via the old wooden buildings of Bryggen.
#378 Bayreuther Bierbrauerei Aktien Zwick’l Kellerbier
Pours medium brown, slightly cloudy, orange touches, half a finger white head. Aroma of light malts, some yeast, caramel, toffee, sweetness. Taste of initial sweetness, malts, caramel, toffee, some chewy-ness, nuts, decent carbonation and then a wheaty, bready, biscuity finish. Nice.

Urbex | Verlassene Orte | Bier... Diamant- Brauerei Magdeburg
City and country drinking Diamond- Beer!
Today I would like to take you to a small tour of the terrain of the former Diamond- brewery Magdeburg ... Cheers :-)!
The facility, which was closed in 1994, was once the largest brewery in the former province of Saxony.
Founded in 1841 by the brothers Albert and Hermann Wernecke as brewery A. & H. Wernecke, the production expanded rapidly and the large property in the Neuen Neustadt became the seat of the brewery. 1872 was converted into a stock company, the brewery expanded ... The diamond as a trade mark was introduced together with the Diamond-Beer in 1937 and passed as a designation on the entire enterprise.
In 1947 the company was expropriated and transferred to the VEB Diamond Brewery Magdeburg-Neustadt. Beers “Helles”, “Pilsner”, “Luxator” were brewed...
After the German reunification, the brewery Kulmbach took over the brewery from the Treuhand (The Treuhandanstalt (“Trust agency”), colloquially referred to as Treuhand, was an agency established by the goverment of the German Democratic Republic to reprivatize East German enterprises)... and flattened it.
Nowadays the brewery is largely an industrial property, some parts are reused. I am especially impressed by the architecture of the bright red, historicizing brick complex with its towers and turrets. Unbelievable, with which aesthetics and detail love at that time industry (!!!) were built. Also architecturally a diamond ...
In 2006, Carsten Thiele and Bernd Fricke founded the private brewery Diamant Magdeburg GmbH, and in the oldest preserved brewery building beer is breewed again...
