Brewster, Cape Cod
Quaint, quiet, and slow-paced, Brewster is one of the Cape's most picturesque towns. Many of the beautiful old inns and charming restaurants were sea captains' homes in the 18th and 19th centuries.
All of Brewster's saltwater beaches are on Cape Cod Bay. At low tide, it's possible to walk out a mile on the Brewster Flats.
Brewster is home to the Cape Museum of Natural History, which offers nature and marine exhibits, guided field walks, classes, and self-guided trails through 80 acres of marshland, forest, and ponds.
Nickerson Park is ideal for biking or picnics among more than 1,700 acres of tall pines, bike trails, and fresh-water ponds.
The Cape Cod Rail Trail runs through town along an abandoned railbed. Bikers pass by salt marshes, cranberry bogs, ponds, and Nickerson State Park.

Three Bicycle Trails ~ Cape Cod Massachusetts
We had a blast riding our Mountain Bikes on our vacation down at Cape Cod.
We explored three different Bike Trails.
September 20, 2016 we rode our bikes on the Old Colony Rail Trail and the CCRT - Cape Cod Rail Trail starting in Harwich down to Nickerson State Park in Brewster. It poured on us. We do not have rain gear for our bikes. We made the best of it. The trails were paved in a wooded area. We saw Cranberry bogs and ponds..it was a great ride. Nickerson State Park had some huge hills to ride up and down. It was difficult for me,, I had to walk my bike up a few hills. This was a 21 mile bike ride,, the longest one I have done since getting my Mountain Bike Mid June 2016.
September 22, 2016 we rode our bikes on the Province Lands Bicycle Trail. We parked at the Provincetown Visitor Center. I absolutely loved this Bike Trail. You ride on a paved trail through the Sand Dunes.. WOW what a fun and beautiful bike ride. We rode out to Herring Cove, Race Point and Bennett Pond. It is marked as a Challenging Bike Path,, and it was. We rode 12 miles.
September 23, 2016 we rode our bikes on the Head of the Meadows Bicycle Trail. The trails are paved but very bumpy. It was a pretty ride but short.. only 2 miles out and 2 miles back.
We had a great time biking on Cape Cod.

Review - Los Camperos Family Restaurant, Brewster WA
We took a bike trip up through the north Cascades and wound up in Brewster WA. There's nothing hungry bikers like more than Tacos, so we stopped for lunch at Los Camperos Family Restaurant near the American Legion hall in Brewster WA. The beef tacos were simply amazing and extremely tasty. A cold beer would have been a nice addition, but we still had quite a ways to ride and thought that might not be such a good idea. If you are in the area, please check them out. Definitely worth the price.

Brewster Massachusetts (MA) Real Estate Tour
-- Tour Brewster, MA neighborhoods, condominium developments, subdivisions, schools, landmarks, recreational areas, and town offices.
Brewster, Massachusetts is a historic sea captains' town located on the bay side of Cape Cod. Established in 1803, the community offers more than 325 acres of beach and marshlands, with 24 ponds larger than 10 acres in size. In 1985, Brewster took steps to protect its open space and water quality by purchasing close to 700 acres of land.
Currently, over one-third of Brewster's land has been retained for conservation, open space, recreation and watershed protection. Consequently, Brewster boasts award-winning drinking water and two nationally acclaimed 18-hole golf courses among other recreation sites. Nickerson State Park contains 400 acres of trails for biking and hiking, camping areas, and freshwater ponds for swimming, fishing and boating.
Brewster has over 15 bed and breakfast inns and over 30 art galleries, craft shops and antique shops, most of which are along historic Route 6A, the old King's Highway. In summer, the magnificent trees shade the landscape, and in the fall, the whole route becomes an artist's palette of blazing autumn color. Brewster's ties to the sea are still evident in the captains' homes, many of which have been converted into B&Bs or exclusive restaurants. For other town tours visit . For towns in MA visit .
