Day hike #15: Panther Falls and Bridal Veil Falls in Banff National Park
Panther and Bridal Veil falls in Banff National Park. I wasn't even gonna make a video out of this but it was unmarked and cool so why not show the world? Time stamps:
1:27 Panther Falls
4:43 Bridal Veil Falls
7:12 What the heck is this?
The top of the falls is slick and could be deadly so be careful! The pullout for this is not marked at all and the trailhead is a ways South and not in plain site at all. It does lead down a path though that's much safer than the top of the falls which seems to be where a lot of people naturally migrate.
After getting up close and personal with the falls I found trails leading farther down and got a nice view of Bridal Veil falls as well.
This trail is described in the Canadian Rockies Trail Guide Page 150, Trail 69

Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.
Travel reminds those paying attention that they are not the only man in the world, that this is a huge world and that they are only a small, insignificant human in it. This is quite a leisure experience – to go to another country or another state and see large numbers of peoples living differently, and coming to understand how large the world actually is. When people who learn return home, they keep with them this perspective for the rest of their life and they benefit from this is knowledge and perspective.
Another benefit to traveling is coming to see one’s native country in a different light, in a different way. This is done through being able to compare and contrast home from a foreign location, done most always through traveling. A new perspective may be formed
Bridal Veil Falls Alberta
12 kilometres south of the Icefields, Bridal Veil Falls is a roadside attraction while traveling along the northern section of the Icefields Parkway in Banff National Park. The falls are estimated to have a cumulative drop of 1200 feet, The part of the falls you see from the road is actually halfway down the falls! To gain a view of the upper tiers, a short walk to the North
