Granville Island, Vancouver グランビルアイランド CANADA
Granville Island is a peninsula and shopping district in Vancouver. It is located in False Creek directly across from Downtown Vancouver's peninsula, under the south end of the Granville Street Bridge.
Granville Island provides amenities such as a large public market, an extensive marina, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Arts Umbrella, False Creek Community Centre, various performing arts theatres including the Arts Club Theatre Company and Carousel Theatre, fine arts galleries, and variety of shopping areas.
Granville Island Brewing Co. is also the name of a beer company which originated on Granville Island in 1984, but whose main base of operations was moved to Kelowna, British Columbia some time later.

Horseshoe Bay Craft Beer Festival 2014
Horseshoe Bay, home of the first craft brewery in Canada, held the first ever Horseshoe Bay Craft Beer Festival on June 21st, 2014. This fantastic event featured 10 local craft brewers and 2 bands.
The Horseshoe Bay Craft Beer Festival was brought to you by the Horseshoe Bay Business Association. Participating craft breweries included Howe Sound Brewing from Squamish, Persephone Brewing Company from Gibsons, Bridge Brewing Company and Deep Cove Brewers & Distillers from North Vancouver, Parallel 49 Brewing Company and Stanley Park Brewing from Vancouver, Longwood Brewery from Nanaimo, Central City Brewing and Russell Brewing Company from Surrey and Driftwood Brewery from Victoria. Each brewery poured 2 of their unique signature beers to sample.
Two iconic local bands - The Adam Woodall Band and Brickhouse performed on the main stage overlooking Howe Sound and the Coastal Mountains. The Ambelside/ Tiddly Cove Lions Club flipped burgers to order.
Welcome Parlour Ice Cream. Why It's One Of My 30 Favourite Places In North Vancouver!
Owner, Ian Widgery has created an ice cream shop that will transport you to a bygone era that, I for one, am thankful he's brought back. This shop not only looks amazing but the ice cream is fantastic and is the official ice cream of the City of North Vancouver! It is easy to see why Welcome Parlour Ice Cream is one of my 30 favourite places in North Vancouver.
