Brewer Jamie Floyd of Ninkasi Brewing Company discusses the origin of Ninkasi beer from locally grown hops to pure McKenzie River water. Along with sourcing ingredients, he emphasizes the importance of place - and for Ninkasi Brewery that is Eugene Oregon's Whiteaker Neighborhood. The Whit is a historic residential community that is experiencing an artistic and small business renaissance. It is a community that embraces craft beer and is attracting an increasing number of brewers.
