HENNESSY EARNS THIRD SEASON VICTORY
No. 1 Shawn Gregory and No. 3 Nathan Rinaldi thrilled fans in a back and forth affair for the first for 14 laps of the 25-lap Bainer’s OilGARD Canadian Modified feature. The pair battled hard as No. 87 pushed his way up through the field from the back of the pack. Rinaldi held the lead for 4 laps, working to hold of Hennessy but a tacky high side worked in the 87’s favour as he snapped first on the 15th time by. Hennessy went on to park it in victory lane, with Gregory in runner-up, Rinaldi third, No. 07 Curtis King finished fourth and Campbellford Chrysler driver of the week No. 99 Linc Brown fifth.

Brown brings home first dirt career win
“I can’t believe it,” were the words Linc Brown cried as parked his No. 99 machine in victory lane four races into his Bainer’s OilGARD Anti Rust career. Having just made the switch from pavement this season Brown called the win unbelievable, but for race fans seeing was believing as Brown snapped up the lead from pole sitter No. 39 Jonah Mutton with only 7 laps of the 25-lap feature to go. Brown flew to victory lane with No. 32 Doug O’Blenis taking runner up, No. 87 Andrew Hennessy finished third, Mutton fourth and No. 12 Adam Whaley fifth.

TURNER TAKES TWO IN A ROW AT BRIGHTON
Coming off an opening night win at Brighton, Cory Turner was determined to park his No. 13 again. On the first time by, the 2018 champ slid into the lead and never looked back throughout the entire 25-lap Sprint feature. No, 91 Ryan Turner and No. 22s Shawn Sliter went door-to-door as No. 10 Mitch Brown and No. 1-10 Jake Brown gunned it close behind. Lapped traffic slowed the pace allowing Mitch Brown to take advantage and sling shot his way into second but it wasn’t enough to catch Turner as he sailed to victory lane. Mitch Brown took second, Ryan Turner third, Sliter fourth and Jake Brown fifth.

Brighton is a town in Northumberland County, Ontario, Canada,[1] approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) east of Toronto and 100 km (62 mi) west of Kingston. It is traversed by both Highway 401 and the former Highway 2. The west end of the Murray Canal that leads east to the Bay of Quinte is at the east end of the town.
Brighton was primarily an agricultural community, specializing in the farming of apples and production of new apple types. However, in recent years, many of the original orchards in the area have been partially removed, to make way for the steadily growing population, and more profitable agricultural produce, such as wheat, corn and soybeans. In late September, Brighton is host to Applefest, its largest yearly festival.
The Municipality of Brighton (formed on January 1, 2001, through an amalgamation of the former Town of Brighton and Brighton Township) is home to nearly 11,000 inhabitants,[2] with a higher than average percentage of those retired. This is common, as the quiet, clean and friendly atmosphere of many smaller towns near Lake Ontario tend to draw the elderly as popular places for retirement living. Many small hamlets surround the town, including Codrington, Carman, Hilton, Spring Valley and Smithfield.
Presqu'ile Provincial Park, just south of the town centre, is one of Brighton's most popular attractions. The park is noted for bird-watching and other nature-oriented activities.

ANDERSON PARKS IT
Eager to get back to victory lane, No. 85 Austin Reid and No. 72 Doug Anderson waged an exhilarating feud throughout the 25-lap Brighton Automotive Thunder Stock Larry’s Towing Triple Crown Race 2. Reid jumped on the lead on the first lap and held a strong command while Anderson and No. 53 Wade Purchase were menaces on his back bumper. Reid continued to keep his cool while a caution riddled affair continued to slow the pace. For the last 5 laps Reid and Anderson traded the lead but with just 2 laps to go Anderson pulled away on the restart and parked it. Purchase’s perseverance paid for a second-place finish, Reid scored third, No. 92 Adam Turner was fourth and No. 17 Jeff Humphry in fifth.
