Brisbane Lookout Mt. Coot-tha & Botanic Gardens 4K
If you visit Brisbane a little longer, then definitely worth a trip to the Lookout Mount Coot-tha. This popular spot for locals and visitors offers spectacular panoramic views of the CBD of Brisbane and the surrounding area. You can relax in the Kuta Cafe or in the Summit Restaurant. At the foot of the mountain is the Planetarium and Brisbane Botanic Gardens. It is considered the most important subtropical botanical gardens of Queensland. We were particularly impressed by the Japanese Garden, the Bonsai House, the Fern House, in the arid zone, the Cactus House and the exotic rainforest.

In this video you'll see a bit of the Brisbane river, The University of Queensland St. Lucia campus, the Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens, and the Mount Coot-tha lookout.
Thanks for watching :) More Med Topics on the way!

EXPLORING BRISBANE'S famous BOTANIC GARDENS at Mount Coot-tha (AUSTRALIA)
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's enjoy a walk and a tour around one of the world's most majestic gardens (and believe me, I have been to quite a few around the world) located just outside the wonderful city of Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Shown here accompanied with a few of my favorite musical compositions.
Australia is a country and continent surrounded by the Indian and Pacific oceans. Its major cities – Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide – are coastal. Its capital, Canberra, is inland. The country is known for its Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, a vast interior desert wilderness called the Outback, and unique animal species like kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses.

Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
On Sunday January 10th 2016 my family and a few friends went on an adventure. Now you can too from the comfort of your own home. Enjoy the sights and sounds.
Karen visits the Brisbane Botanical Gardens Mt. Coot-tha
Karen visits the Mt. Coot-tha botanical gardens in Brisbane Queensland. Some highlights of the visit are hives of native stingless bees. There are two species of these tiny insects who produce a strong honey called sugarbag with medicinal properties. The kitchen garden has fake cabbage moths which are used to deter the real moth from laying eggs on the brassicas. Karen shares how they can be made at home from old plastic ice cream lids, but they need to be positioned above the bok choy. The last part of the video shows a bird scarer made from a recycled Christmas metalic streamer.
City Botanic Gardens - Brisbane Part 1
The City Botanic Gardens (formerly the Brisbane Botanic Gardens) is a heritage-listed botanic garden on Alice Street, Brisbane City, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
