I went on a week long trip to Czech Republic in the month of August and here’s the third and final vlog from my trip! ❤️ I did this trip with the tourism board of Czech Republic and it was such a memorable one! In this video, you’ll see we exploring cities in South Moravia - basically Brno and Mikulov. Brno is the second largest city in Czech, and was without a doubt my most favourite city in Czech Republic, and if you watched this video, you’ll know why - it literally looks like a fairytale land!

In Brno, we explored Špilberk Castle, the Cathedral, the main square and a ton of cute spots. We also got a chance to check out a few concerts because we visited during the time of Brno Music Marathon. We ended out trip in the cute town of Mikulov, and explored some vineyards along the way! Also got to see glimpses of Vienna in Austria because our flight back from was from there.

A mosque in Brno in the Czech Republic has been vandalised
A mosque in Brno in the Czech Republic has been vandalised with graffiti threatening to kill Muslims. This video shows the text sprayed on the wall of the mosque saying Don't spread Islam in the Czech Republic - otherwise we'll kill you. Police are investigating an act of damage to property. TRT World interviewed the Turkish Ambassador and Former EU Minister Egemen Bagis earlier today. He spoke of his shock at the attack.

A mosque in the Czech city of Brno has been vandalised by an instant of Islamophobic hate message, the footage from Saturday shows.
The graffiti message written on the mosque wall reads, Do not spread Islam in the Czech Republic, or else, we will kill you.
Police have been investigating the incident as to understand how the message was written on the mosque’s facade between Friday and early hours of Saturday.
The mosque has been reportedly hit by similar instants of hate speech in past years.

Czech mosque vandalised with death threats
The first mosque built in the Czech Republic was attacked on January 4.
The graffiti said, Do not spread Islam in the Czech Republic, or else we will kill you.
But this was not the first attack on the Muslim community in the country's second-largest city of Brno.

Czech Republic police raids mosque during Friday prayers

Mosques were raided by armed police during the only time in the week that the mosques are guaranteed to be full. It has been reported that the armed officers forced the civilian congregation to remain seated for several hours, causing them to miss their obligatory prayers altogether, under threats of being shot by the armed men. A secret video recording also showed the armed men intimidating the congregation, not even allowing them look at the supposed officers walking among them in the prayer areas.

Death Threats Spray-Painted on Czech Mosque
A mosque in the Czech Republic's second city of Brno has been vandalized with graffiti threatening to kill Muslims, police said.
Don't spread Islam in the Czech Republic! Otherwise we'll kill you, reads the inscription sprayed on the mosque.
We have been investigating the case since Friday afternoon as damage to property for now, local police spokesman Bohumil Malasek told French Press Agency (AFP).
The perpetrator faces up to a year in prison if convicted.
We take it seriously as a direct threat, it's not an anonymous call on the internet, Muneeb Hassan Alrawi, head of the Czech Muslim Communities Centre, told the CTK news agency.
We must also see this in the light of attacks on mosques in the world and of the oppressive sentiment and atmosphere in the Czech Republic, he added.
The migrant wave that peaked in Europe in 2015 stoked anti-Muslim sentiment in the Czech Republic even though it is home to only a small number after most refugees headed for wealthier states such as Germany or Sweden.
The Muslim population in the Czech Republic, an EU member of 10.7 million people, tallied at 3,358 in a 2011 census but unofficial estimates suggest a community of 10,000-20,000.

Czech Republic: Anti-Islam demonstrators rally outside Saudi embassy on 9/11 anniversary
An Anti-Islam demo called With humor to Mecca took place on Sunday afternoon in Prague.
The demonstration started at 14:00 local time (13:00 GMT) in front of Saudi Arabia's embassy in the Czech capital, where around 25 people were present. Protesters stood outside the embassy, dressing in thwabs and mocking Islamic sacred traditions.

The phenomenon of Islamophobia is growing rapidly and significantly in Czech Republic, despite the small number of Muslims.
The percentage of Muslims in Czech Republic is no more than two tenths of a percent.
Last week, anti-Islamic slogans were written on the walls of a mosque in the city of Brno, the second largest city in the country.
The city mosque of Brno, which is the first mosque in the country, has been attacked by opponents of the religion many times.
There are 20,000 Muslims in Czech Republic, which has a population of 10.8 million.
