Brněnský orloj - Brno astronomical clock
is a black stone monument in Brno, Czech Republic. It is situated at Náměstí Svobody, the main square in the Brno City Centre. The monument was proposed by Oldřich Rujbr and Petr Kameník. Every day at 11:00 it releases a glass marble, which the spectators can catch from one of four openings in the monument and they can take it with them as a souvenir. Although the monument is publicly known as an astronomical clock (orloj), it is only a clock. Construction of the clock took three years, at a cost of approximately 12 million CZK.

The best city in Czechia? ????????
Brno is a city in the South Moravian Region of Czechia.
We were due to fly out back to England from Bratislava in the evening, so we took a 90 minute drive out of the way to check out what Brno, the second largest city in Czechia had to offer, before heading back to Bratislava for the flight home.
There are some amazing things to see whilst you're in Brno, for example, the insane constantly moving elevator in Brno Post Office, the Lamborghini we found outside of the fruit and vegetables market, St Peter and Paul's Cathedral and the big black astronomical clock known as Brno clock, or the Brno black thing.
If you're looking for what to do in Brno, this short video will help you to check out some of the sights, especially if you're short of time, whilst in the Czechia.
Brno Castle is also an amazing sight at the top of the hill, also known as Hrad Spilberk or Spilberk Castle.
Brno has many, many churches and the architecture is unreal. Brno truly is a great place to visit and is usually ignored due to Prague, the capital city, being the bigger tourist attraction.
The big black clock in Brno is so unique. If you don't know what it is, you may wonder, what is that big black thing in Brno? Well, it's an astronomical clock. Prague also has an astronomical clock, but completely different to the Brno clock. Every day at 11am, 4 people can put their hands into the clock, and one ball falls out into one lucky person's hand. We caught it on video!

Walking for about one hour in Brno enjoying the winter flow. No vlog, no intrusive faces or talking - just a tourist walking experience in this Czech city.
Brno is a nice city in the Czech Republic. Compared to Prague it's smaller and less touristy yet has a nice vibe and friendly people. The walk up to the Špilberk Castle provides a good view over this city.
