Brockville Railway Tunnel is Now Something Special
This is The Brockville Tunnel, Canada’s First Railway Tunnel. Now from the outside it just looks like some kind of pedestrian walkway, built under the road above, that is until you start walking down the tunnel, then you quickly realise, it is something quit special.
The 525-metre tunnel has been transformed with more than 700 coloured LED lights & sound system, which will run a dynamic Light Show, 365 days a year, turning the mostly unused railway tunnel into a visually stunning walkway for pedestrians.
The light show is on a 90 minute cycle with 5 minutes of white light, then 5 minutes of colour, with the train sounds and light running the tunnel’s length every 15 minutes.
Thanks for watching

Geocaching through the Brockville Railway Tunnel
Brockville is home to Canada's very first railway tunnel. After it closed in the last century the city purchased it and has now turned it into an amazing attraction that will blow you away. We had to go through it to get to our target cache on a railway caboose.
