Bronte Creek Provincial Park
Bronte Creek Provincial Park | Aerial view of the Creek and Hiking trail
Bronte Creek Provincial Park is nestled right in the middle of Town of Oakville. There are plenty of things to do. There is a barn with horses, cows, sheep etc. There are lots of space for picnic, fishing, camp ground and of course plenty of hiking trails.
Every year around end of September salmon crossing can be seen in the creek and it provides a great opportunity for fishing. If you want to access the creek faster, i'd recommend that you park at the F parking lot which is all the way at the end and follow the half moon trail.
As you follow the trail, you will see a board which gives you details about the half moon valley trail. Make sure you cut to the right of it to reach the creek.
The park has two entrances. If you are driving along the QEW highway, make sure to exit on Burloak drive and turn right. The entrance to the park will be on your right.
I got lost first time around and exited on Bronte which took me the entrance on 3201 Upper Middle Road West off Bronte Road. You won't be able to access the creek if you enter through here.
i wasn't lucky this time and did get a chance to see the salmon crossing.

Braving the cold at the Bronte Creek Maple syrup festival!
A sweet trip to Bronte Creek Provincial Parks Maple syrup festival. Roasting marshmallows and sampling some maple taffy. It was cold but it was worth it!
BRONTE CREEK, OAKVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA
This pastoral, all-season oasis between Burlington and Oakville offers a place to unwind and step back in time. View living history demonstrations in an 1890s farmhouse. Take the children to the playbarn to pet the animals or romp in the outdoor playground. Camp overnight, swim in a huge outdoor pool, stroll along nature trails, and pedal your bicycle. In winter, skate outdoors, go tobogganing and cross-country skiing. The day use and campground areas in this park are separate; each has its own entrance

Bronte Creek At Bronte Provincial Park
Found a pretty neat shooting location at Bronte Creek (Bronte Creek Provincial Park). Wind gusts weren’t cooperating at the time, however I’ll be back for additional filming another day.
