Walk 8, Ponden Reservoir & Bronte Country, Haworth, West Yorkshire
The Yorkshire Trekkers take on the hilly moors of Haworths surrounding area, starting and finishing at Ponden Reservoir and taking in a short detour to Bronte Bridge and Bronte Falls. The hilly terrain of the moorland poses a windy challenge and only shelter from a cluster rocks enables the trekkers to find somewhere to eat and drink.
***I apologise for the terrible sound quality of some of the video clips. We were testing out new external microphone for the camera but something has obviously gone wrong and the result is that some audio is very low and glitchy and unfortunately it cannot be rectified. We hope to have this problem resolved shortly***

Bronte Falls Short Walk, Haworth
The walk is approximately 2¾ miles long, most of the walk is on reasonable footpaths, as you get near to the Bronte waterfall, it can be muddy in parts and there are some uneven steps.
Wear good walking shoes, preferably boots, and take a waterproof in case of rain. Remember, wuthering is a Yorkshire word for stormy weather.

Bronte Bridge in Haworth, England. Bronte Sisters Visited Here
From July 2009. It is said the Bronte sisters often visited this area. The original bridge itself was wiped out by a flash flood in 1989 but was rebuilt by the Bronte society. It is a LONG trek from Haworth village. About a 3 mile walk through country-side England with roaming sheep and goats.

A sunny walk around the Haworth and the Moors around there, including a derelict building named Top Withens which allegedly has Very tenuous link to Wuthering Heights. Still, that said it was a belting sunny walk and with lots of views a waterfall and sandwich pinching sheep

Haworth is a cute village in England. It is also called Bronte country, as the area is well known for the Bronte sisters.
Must do is the steam train from Keighley to Haworth/Oxenhope and Emile Bronte's Museum. There are trails leading up from the museum to Withens. We did not walk up till there, but my research tells me there is a pretty waterfall and interesting sights, some of which are mentioned by Emile Bronte in her book Wuthering Heights.
