*****TRAVEL TIP *******
DON'T MISS THE WEST COAST!!!!!
***** 2nd TRAVEL TIP*******
Don't make the same mistake I did, which was booking tours & excursions with a BIG travel agent as they are only interested in getting bums on seats and often push you into a tour or activity that may not be right for you simply because that company gives them a higher commission!
In my experience they are also reluctant to help you sort things that go wrong once they have your money!
So.......
I recommend a smaller, much more personal service like RATPACK TRAVEL - the owner, Sam is much more about sorting the right tour or activity for YOU and is more than happy to give you advice and answer questions.
PLUS you get 10% off all Australia & NZ tours with this link:

I am also very happy to answer any questions, even if you think they might be silly - just ping me an email : pockettrailblazer@gmail.com

What at adventure, we didn't really know how good this would be. We took off from Broome airport and landed in an inlet in the sea, the flight alone was a great experience. We got into a speed boat and were brought to a bigger cruiser for a BBQ lunch before the Horizontal Waterfall itself. We mounted the speed boat like you would a horse and set out for the big trip. The horizontal waterfall is actually here there is a break in the sea wall made of cliffs and the tide rises faster than it can flow into the inlet as seen from the overhead plane trip. We speed through the break in the wall up hill as it were through the rushing water. Amazing trip. This video gets a more exciting a minute in to it... :-)

Downunder 3 - Broome to the Pilbara.
Third video in a series of six about an 8000km road journey from tropical Darwin in Australia's far north to distant Perth in it's deep south west. Part three starts in remote and fascinating Broome on the tropical Indian Ocean coastline of north Western Australia, to embark on a 600km desolate road journey to the coastal iron-ore-export terminal at Port Hedland sited midway south on our long journey from Darwin and then inland over rough terrain to the iron ore mines of the amazing Pilbara. Here, we see the Hammersley Mining Company's huge mine in operation, before exploring the magnificent nearby Karajini National Park, with it's rugged ironstone ridges, deep ravines and superbly cool swimming holes in this remote sunbaked country - before heading further south to Perth in later videos. A superb journey through many of the scenic gems of this vast and quite unique southern continent!

CABLE BEACH BROOME WA WESTERN AUSTRALIA
caravan trip 2007
Cable Beach
Cable Beach is situated 7 km from town along a good bitumen road. The beach itself is 22.5 km long with beautiful white sand washed clean daily by tides that can reach over nine metres. The water is crystal clear turquoise, and the gentle swells hardly manage to topple over as they roll up onto the almost perfectly flat beach. Caution, however is required when swimming from November through March as stingers are present during those months. Four wheel drive vehicles may be driven onto the beach from the car park. This allows people to explore the beach at low tide to a much greater extent than would be possible on foot. Sunset camel rides operate daily along the beach.
Cable Beach is home to one of Australia's most famous nudist beaches. The clothes optional area is to the north of the beach access road from the car park and continues to the mouth of Willie Creek, 17 km away.

Unique Kimberley
Kimberley Off-Road Adventure Tours - Kimberley, Kakadu, Arnhem Land and Savannah Gulf tours
Kimberley Off-Road Adventure Tours launched in 2016 because it was our goal to offer tours which encompassed everything we love about camping and travel in the north of Australia. We operate adventure tours throughout the Top End and the company is run solely by us; Adam the guide and Lucy managing the operations. We are a young family living in Darwin and we enjoy the direct relationship we have with all our passengers.
Our objective is simple, we offer our passengers as much access to the Kimberley and the Top End as possible; whilst providing the basic essentials for a comfortable adventure.
We take small group tours in a 4x4 truck with ample luggage space. Our trucks are especially chosen so they’re small enough to reach Aboriginal rock art sites, waterholes and campsites; places larger tour trucks aren’t able to access. We run a fridge and freezer to ensure fresh, quality meals and a drinks esky to allow for a refreshing drink at the end of the day.
Adam’s guiding career began in the Kimberley and now, almost 10 years later, his passion and knowledge of the region is stronger than ever. He has taken over 100+ tours and 1,000+ satisfied passengers across the Gibb River Road and through the Kimberley Region.
