The Brunswick Euro Challenge 2009 was the fourth stop of the 2009 European Bowling Tour and one of the Tour's majors. The BEC sponsored by Brunswick Bowling was organized by Brunswick distributor Valcke Bowling. The total prize fund was 90,000 Euro and the winner took home the 16.000 Euro top prize.

The 5th Columbia 300 Vienna Open was the 18th stop of the 2007 European Bowling Tour and one of the Tour's Majors. The tournament was held from October 16-21, 2007 at 32-laner Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria, and offered total prize fund of 60.530 Euro. 312 players - 240 men and 72 women - from 26 countries battled it out in 14 qualifying squads for one of the 68 spots for the finals on Sunday, October 21, 2007.

The second Men's European Tenpin Bowling Championship was held from July 1-9, 2007 at Plus Bowling in Vienna, Austria. 207 players from 35 of the 48 member federations of the European Tenpin Bowling Federation (ETBF) bowled for gold, silver and bronze medals in five disciplines, Doubles, Trios, 5-player Teams, All Events and Masters. For the first time in the history of the MEC, the medals in Doubles, Trios and Team were decided in one-game semifinals and final of the top 4 after preliminaries.
