Eastern Rosella Parakeet in Singleton Park, Swansea - 06.06.2017
I've spotted this bird in Singleton Park, Swansea, Wales, a couple of times in recent weeks. It's clearly not a British native. Anyone know what species it is?
Apparently, it's an Eastern Rosella (Platycercus eximius).

Brynmill v Newton Swansea Schools Rugby Union Under 11 Cup Final at St Helens' Rugby Ground - April 19th 1982

This video has only recently resurfaced and a huge thank you has to go to Simon George who kindly made it available for us all to see. For me personally it has been like a holy grail as back in the early 80's hardly anything was recorded and I had really given up hope that we would ever have a chance of seeing it again...

Crownhill Fort, Plymouth
Crownhill Fort in Plymouth is one of many Palmerston Follies constructed in the 1860's to defend key locations against French invasion at great expense but never needed. Since 1987 it has been owned and managed by the Landmark Trust and they have restored large parts of the fort to it's original Victorian style and appearance, making it a fascinating place to visit on the open days held on the last Friday of most months except during the winter. Check out their website for more details here:

Haunting History of : Ford Green Hall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England U.K
Ford Green Hall is a Grade II* listed farmhouse and historic house museum. The hall is thought to have been built in 1624 for Hugh Ford, a local yeoman farmer, remaining in the Ford family for some 200 years.A brickwork extension was added to the property sometime in the 17th century, most likely replacing or renovating a previous structure.
The Fords had left the area by the 19th century, and after a series of tenants, it was split into three separate dwellings. During this period, the distinctive timber framing was covered in white stucco. The property was purchased by Stoke-on-Trent City Council in 1946 and, following restoration, opened as a museum in 1952.
Afterlife: PI - Ford Green Hall (Pilot Series - Episode 6)HERE
Many visitors and staff of the museum over the years have claimed to have experienced some truly amazing incidents – including a curator who worked there in the 1970s who claimed that the activity was so regular that she became accustomed to visitation by ghosts on an almost daily basis.
One ghost even disrupted a day-time tour she was giving by chatting to a lady visitor who was the only person who could see the apparition! I have visited this location on many occasions and can say that, having experienced for myself strange sound and anomalies caught on camera – along with the testimony of others – Ford Green Hall has to be one of our county's most haunted locations.
