----ABOUT ME------------
I am proud local Hungarian living in Budapest.
I was born and have lived in this beautiful city, Budapest for decades. I am in love with it - and not because I haven’t seen anything else. I am a seasoned traveller and I have also spent many years living abroad. However, my heart (and wive, and jobs and goulash soup and lángos) have pulled me back to my birth town. I love this city and know it inside out.
If you are fed up with the formal (and often wrong) recommendations of guide books, then follow my channel to find out advice from real local. I give you practical tips, show you cool spots and help you avoid tourist traps.
I live and love Budapest, I want to share my tips with you.

Hotel Papillon - Budapest - Hungary - www.hotelpapillon.hu
The three-star Hotel Papillon is situated on the Buda side of the Danube, a few steps from the city center, in one of the greenest and quietest part of Budapest. One hundred years ago there used to be only rose plantations on this part of the capital city, that's why it's got the Rose Hill (Rózsadomb) name. The Buda Castle which takes part of the World Heritage, the bank of the Danube, the Houses of Parliament (famous tourist sight) and numerous bathes are accessible by only a 10-15 minutes walk. From the roof terrace of the hotel and the terrace of the panorama apartment there is a beautiful view over the city.
Hotel Papillon is located in the most beautiful, peaceful and calm area, on the Rózsadomb, only a few minutes from the heart of the city and just a 10 minutes walk from the Buda Castle.
The Moscú Square (Moszkva tér) is only 5 minutes away and there is a metro stop (line 2) and bus and tram stops. The Buda Castle which takes part of the World Heritage, the bank of the Danube, the Houses of Parliament (famous tourist sight) and numerous bathes are accessible by only a 10-15 minutes walk.. The most beautiful and famous tourist attractions (for example the Parliament, the Castle of Buda, the Margaret Island and the thermal baths) are easy to access from the hotel, by the means of public transport or on foot.
Our hotel has a family atmosphere, our rooms and apartament s can accommodate 75 persons. We have double-rooms, single-rooms , triple rooms and rooms with four beds. An extra bed can be put in some of the rooms on request.
You can enjoye the spectecular panoramic view from our roof-top terrace . For the most pleasurable stay we offer you our comfortable panorama apartment with a balcony.

A Budapest Emergency Medical Services Ford Transit ambulance responding with hi-lo and some horn. Another Budapest EMS ambulance is responding at the same time but went a different way. The Transits were purchased before Hungary fortunately legalized red and blue lights on emergency vehicles.
