Gloucester and Bucketts Scenic Walk
Gloucester is in Mid-North NSW and is beautifully set in a valley where three rivers meet (Barrington, Gloucester and Avon) and on the Western side are the Bucketts - rocky outcrops. In Gloucester you can do a heritage walk and a mosiac walk (there are around 40 mosiacs on walls and pavement) as well as the Bucketts Scenic Walk - a short (2km return) trip, but quite steep as it climbs up to the rocks. Great way to spend a day.

Copeland Tops Walks (Basin Loop & Hidden Treasure)
Copeland Tops SCA is about 15km from Gloucester, NSW. Back in the 1870's and 1880's this was a gold mining area. The 7+km Basin Loop walk incorporates the Hidden Teasure walk with the addition of the loop track around to the Hidden Treasure Mine. This walk has both Dry and Wet Rainforest. The first part is along the valley were there are relics of the old gold mining days and then it climbs up to join the Old Copeland Road with a 1,000ft (300mtr) climb., from where it descends for 3km down the Old Copeland Road back to the car park. An interesting and beautiful walk. The Hidden Treasure Walk is around 3.5km. Mountain Maid Mine on this walk is by guided tour only.
Summer Trip 2018 - South Coast to Mallacoota and back via the Snowy Mountains
South Coast NSW & Snowy Mountains.
During February & March 2018 we travelled south down the south coast of NSW and into Victoria at Mallacoota before heading north into the Monaro Country and then into the Snowy Mountains and travlling north as far as Gulgong beofre heading back to the coast. We did several short walks ranging from coastal to Mt Kosciuszko.
