Entering Buckeye Camp
One of the more picturesque campgrounds in Big Sur, Buckeye Campground is a very large campground, actually there are two large sites, and it's on the Buckeye Trail in the Silver Peak Wilderness of the Los Padres National Forest in Big Sur (the big south of Monterey County) California.
This is a short excerpt of a larger video I'm composing of a 26 mile loop trip, starting at Salmon Creek Ranger Station, going down the Buckeye Trail, hanging a right at the Cruikshank Trail all the way up to the Coast Ridge Road all the way over to Three Peaks taking the Dutra Trail down to Dutra Flat and then the Spruce Creek Trail on out to the Salmon Creek Trail and then home. This is a two day loop trip, overnighting at Silver Public Camp on the Cruikshank Trail.

California Highway 395 Hot Springs Road Trip
My friend and I packed our car and hit the road to explore a couple hot springs off highway 395. We headed to the small town of Bridgeport where we explored two hot springs and stayed the night in a covered wagon. We were back on the road after breakfast and headed down to Lee Vining where we kayaked at Mono Lake. We enjoyed a late lunch with live music and ended our trip at one final hot springs in Mammoth Lakes.
