We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Budapest, Hungary on June 2019.
The capital city of Hungary, Budapest, was created through the unification of the separate historic towns of Buda, Pest and Óbuda in 1873. In this tour we explore Pest on the east bank of the Danube River. Pest is the younger part of the capital and it was the fastest growing city in the last decade of the 19th century. Our guided walking tour is about 3 miles (4.8 km) long, starts at Hungarian Parliament, ends at Central Market Hall and covers most attractions and historic sites of Budapest Central Pest.

Budapest Travel Guide - Too Many Things to Do & See in Hungary!
I'm in Budapest Hungary and there are so many things to do in this amazing capital city that I simply can;t fit them all in this video. The city of Budapest is made up of ancient Royal City of Buda on one side of the river Dunube and Pest on the other side of the Danube, the two sides are linked together by the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, a well known landmark in Budapest.
Other popular landmarks of Budapest worth going to see include St Stephens Bascilica, Heroes Square, Széchenyi Thermal Baths, the Hungarian State Opera House, the Budapest Eye in Erszebet Gardens, Vörösmarty Ter (also known as Vörösmarty square), and Vajdahunyad Castle (which is not to be confused with Buda Castle, also known as the Budapest Castle or The Várnegyed which translates as the Castle Quarter).
The city of Budapest is easy to get around with a combination of public transport and by walking around the city.
So come on a tour of Budapest with me as we discover the landmarks and history of this ancien medieval city of Europe.

Budapest Ruin Bars | Night Out In Hungary
Ruin bars or ruin pubs are the cornerstone of Budapest nightlife. These local spots are very unique and you should visit at least one to see what it’s like. This video tours you around seven of the city’s most popular, including the original that started the whole scene.
Ruin bars began in the early 2000s when young people in Budapest were looking for places to go out and have a drink without spending a fortune. This led to abandoned buildings and empty lots being filled with old furniture and odds and ends and turned into makeshift cheap bars. The ‘ruins’ of the surroundings is what led to the name. There are lots of ruin bars and they all have a distinct feeling that sets them apart from each other.

Budapest Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
The Hungarian capital, Budapest, is situated on the banks of the Danube in Central Europe. It’s the political, economic and cultural heart of the nation, and one of the most beautiful and livable cities on the continent.
For a sweeping overview of the city head to the Buda side of the Danube and take in the views from the 19th century ramparts on Gellért Hill. Just upriver is Budapest’s oldest area, The Castle District, home to Buda Castle, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion.
Once you’ve explored the heights of Castle Hill, cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge to the Pest side of the city and follow the riverbank upstream to Hungary’s Parliament Building. Nearby, pay your respects at the Shoes on the Danube Memorial, a sobering tribute to the thousands who were executed here during The Second World War.
After admiring the magnificent dome of St. Stephen’s Basilica, allow yourself to be swept up Andrassy Avenue. This world heritage listed boulevard opens out onto Heroes’ Square and City Park. The park is home to the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, just one of the city’s many lavish bathhouses. For many in Budapest, “taking the waters” is a weekly ritual.
Whether it’s the sparkling Danube or the thermal springs, there’s something truly rejuvenating in the water here. So when you’re ready to experience moments of refection, inspiration, and sublime beauty, come to Budapest, you’re sure to come away rejuvenated too.

With only a short amount of time in Hungary we knew Budapest had to be the place to visit, travel and vlog. Today was exploring the Buda side of the city starting with Chain Bridge, then up to Buda Castle and further around to Fishermans Bastion.
The Chain Bridge has so many interesting stories about it's build, but we love the story of the Hungarian stunt pilot flying underneath, year before we visited in 2018.
Walking over the Chain Bridge we arrived at the base of the Buda Castle, aka Budapest Castle. There was a festival on so we couldnt get full access to the Castle grounds sadly, but the view back over the city of Budapest and the Chain Bridge made it worth it.
Further around to Fishermans Bastion we discovered the most epic little church, more views of Budapest and hundreds of people. Definitely walk the back streets of Fishermans Bastion and get lost in the little lane ways.
