यहां है गुफाओं का सबसे बड़ा जाल, 2000 साल से है दुनिया की नजरों से दूर
At some point in the Jhalawar and surrounding areas of Rajasthan, Buddhist civilization also flourished. About 2000 years old caves are under the supervision of the Archaeological Survey of India. These caves of nearly 2000 years old are preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India, but not only the world, but also away from the eyes of the people of Rajasthan. There were 50 such caves sometimes. With time now there are only few left survivors. There are only four main caves in 50 caves, inside which the Buddha's statue is located. In addition to these caves, there are about 15 such caves in Chirayka with about 20 in Bina Bay and 5 km from Kolvi village.
Buddhist caves of the eighth and ninth century are located in Kolvi, Vinayaka, Hathiyogaur, Gunai. Here Buddhism is the architectural of Heinan and Mahayana. These caves are of Ashvanan type. It is made by scattering the rocks.
Historian Lalit Sharma explains that the caves of the Buddhist group of Kolvi are the largest cave trap in the state. Here Buddhist monks used to sleep, and pillows for them remained. At the same time, there are Agnikunda, Lord Buddha statues, Chakra Gandika Stupas and Chaitya, which attract tourists very much. If the caves are preserved as well as propagation, China, and tourists from other Buddhist countries can come here a considerable number.
Very few people know that Buddhism and Rajasthan have close relations. Many proofs of Buddhism have been found in the womb of Rajasthan. In fact, centuries before Rajasthan emerged as a Tourist Destination, some parts of it had sheltered the Buddhist monks in search of peace.
There are many well-known Buddhist monasteries or campus stupas in Bararath, Bararath in Alwar, Kolvi in Jhalawar, Dausa, or Rajasthan, which show that Rajasthan is also a major center of Buddhism. Asi. Pro. Niki Chaturvedi has claimed in research that Buddhist structures are from Rajasthan between 300 and 900 AD. Located 52 miles from Jaipur, there are remains of a spherical temple, monastery and Ashoka era's pillars in Barath.
Famous Chinese traveler Hwy Tsang also mentioned this place in his travelogue. On the boundary of Jhalawar and Tank, there are a total of 50 caves of multi-storeyed structures which are from 700 to 900 AD. The ruins of 64 monk cells in Kolvi are located in a large complex, in which the stupa or meditation room is present. There are Buddha statues at this place. The Buddha's standing idol, with the highest 12 feet of sermons, is the currency. The evidence from Kolvi is extremely important. This was first mentioned by Dr. Impe (1854) and later Cunningham (Report of 1864-65, 1972).
