KOREAN STREET FOOD at Bujeon Market - Fresh Seafood!
Today we're in Busan, South Korea and explore a traditional Korean market! It's our first time at Bujeon Shijang (부전시장) and we discover it is filled with locals. It is lively even on a weekday. You'll see much fresh seafood, vegetables, and dried goods. I've been to many traditional style Korean markets before from Seoul to Gangneung to Busan. Bujeon Shijang has become one of my Top 5 favorites! However if you are looking for more street food options, I still recommend Gwangjang Shijang in Seoul (aka: Gwangjang Market). Watch the full videos for the tour and munchies :)

UNREAL Korean Street Food Tour in BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA | Best local street food in Busan
Subscribe for more food and travel videos:
We’ve found the BEST local STREET FOOD in BUSAN! We take you on a local Korean street food tour in Seomyeon, Busan, South Korea to discover amazing Busan street food...
We eat:
Kalguksu and mandu
Kalguksu are handmade, knife cut noodles and this local spot offers freshly made noodles in bowls of anchovy broth. We also eat their giant mandu or dumplings which are stuffed full of chives, glass noodles and minced pork. The eatery we ate at can be found on 266-17 Bujeong 1(il)-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.
Gimbap (seaweed rice rolls)
The local market is the perfect place to find some delicious snacks. We find a stall in Bujeon market doing a brisk business in making gimpab- seaweed rice rolls stuffed full of ingredients including pickles, ham, surimi, egg and more.
Chimaek (chicken and beer)
Chimaek is a classic when in Korea! Our favourite chimaek stalls are the ones where the chickens are double fried and served simply- just with salt and pepper and some white, pickled radish. Wash it all down with a beer and you have a stellar meal!
Where we ate: 플레이파크PC South Korea, Busan, Busanjin-gu, Bujeon-dong, 261-1
Korean Street Toast
One of Korea’s most popular snacks is Korean Street Toast. Two slices of white bread are slathered with butter and sandwich an omelette, cabbage, tomato sauce and sprinkled sugar. It’s sweet, savoury, buttery goodness.
The street toast vendors we ate from are located at the entrance to Bujeon Market at 266-17 Bujeong 1(il)-dong, Busanjin-gu, Busan.
Patjuk (red bean porridge)
Bujeon Market has a range of stalls serving hot porridge. We sample the dan patjuk or red bean porridge which turns out to be a savoury version. The patjuk contains pieces of rice cake which melt into the hot porridge creating a gooey, delicious mess!

Seomyeon is the commercial center and transportation hub in Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea. Seomyeon is also the most crowded area in Busan, having a floating population of 165,300 a day.[1] Seomyeon has three underground shopping malls meeting beneath the Seomyeon road junction, a department store, many shopping stores, bars, restaurants, movie theaters, banks, bookstores, clinics, etc.
Seomyeon has notable shopping areas, such as Seomyeon 1st Street. This area is located next to the former Cheonwujang near the intersection of the former Mariposa and the LG Electronics Seomyeon Service Center. Seomyeon 1st Street begun as a hot spot for young people, brimming with restaurants, karaoke, and shopping. In 2001, the Busan government remodeled the area with new sidewalks and street lights, and by 2005, 1st Street became known as the “Street without a car”. Seomyeon 1st Street is now the home of the Seomyeon 1st Street Grand Festival, held annually and consisting of dancing, cocktails, and quiz shows[3].
Another hallmark of Seomyeon is Seomyeon Printing Street, located south of Lotte Hotel Busan. The street is only 15 meters wide and boasts of around 330 book-making shops. The street is a popular destination for those who wish to have design work done or print their business cards, among many other things. Since 1998, Seomyeon Printing Street has been the home of the Seomyeon Printing Culture Street Union Festival, further cementing its place in the printing industry[3].
Seomyeon’s most famous area to shop is the Lotte Department Store, which includes an underground shopping area, as well. There are 5 stories below ground and 11 stories above. Among the shops, there is also a cinema, restaurants, and the popular hotel, Lotte Hotel Busan[3].
Like many other regions in Korea, Seomyeon has its own regional dishes it considers to be specialties. While enjoying the sights of the area in the summer, one can dine on milmyeon, or cold sour, sweet, and spicy noodles in meat broth. In the colder months, Seomyeon offers a dish called ttukbaegi (meaning earthen pot) stew, usually made with fermented soybean paste, soft tofu, or fish and hot pepper. This special pot allows the stew to remain hot long after it has finished cooking. Other noteworthy Seomyeon specialties include pork and rice soup, kalguksu (chopped noodles), and broiled sea eel[3].

Nampo-dong Shopping Center in Busan | RAD
#Nampodong #BusanSouthKorea #ShoppingCenter
Nampo-dong Underground Shopping Center has become one of Busan's most bustling commercial centers due to it's convenient location between Busan Jagalchi subway station and Nampo-dong subway station. The large indoor shopping space (length 517m, x_width 25-34m) also provides a much-adored resting spot for the locals, equipped with the latest central heating and air conditioning systems and equipment. As the gateway of the 21st century’s top tourist city, this shopping center sits between Busan Jagalchi Market and Busan Gukge Market. Busan International Film Festival is also held nearby, attracting quite a few foreign tourists. A variety of items are available, including ladies apparel, mens apparel, casual clothing, brands, designer clothes, handicrafts and accessories.
Jagalchi Station (Busan Subway Line 1), Exit 8.
- After exiting the station, the shopping center is on the left.

It's about three times the size of a letter.
It's a relatively old downtown. It's characterized by a higher age than written.

$3 KOREAN BREAKFAST TOAST in tiny shop ???? Busan Day 6
Today we try a popular breakfast toast in Busan! Some say it's the best toast in South Korea, but we find out for ourselves. One thing's for sure: the owners of the shop are very welcoming. Their dining area is small and cozy. Remember to write a message on the wall if you can find an empty spot ???? Afterwards we search for a cafe and end up eating Pie Manju, Hotteok and other goodies.
