SEMPORNA TRIP JULY 2019 | Bukit Tengkorak | Timba-Timba Island

Before the year end, I thought it’s best to share one of my best moments for this year with you guys. It’s a short getaway to another district here in Sabah, Tawau-Semporna sometimes around July this year. It’s our 2nd time visiting Semporna but this time to another different islands. Too bad I didn’t film our bunk beds dorm though since it’s one of my favourite spot because of its uniqueness & cute small space!
Our islands hopping package consists of 3 islands actually but because it was raining heavily since early that morning, the waves were ridiculously scary for us...and making some of us caught sea sickness ???? so we decided to just call it a day and back to the land.
Despite the unpredictable weather, we still had fun and got some reasonable tanned lines ????

mc_travelbud.borneo decided to visit that hidden Gems in Semporna and fpund that the view was so heavenly like!
Its like Jurrasic Park but dinosaur not exist due to their extinction in this modern era's.
If you happen to visit here, make sure all the rubbish that u have, kindly bring it down with you because during our visits, it is so sad to witness lots of rubbish been left behind.
Other than that, you guys may find Mr Faisal the freelance guide that willing to bring those much interested viewing the place. He never asked for return for the sincere tour but we decided to offer him a sincere gift from us to to his kind actions. He willing to wait for the sunset that time but both of us need to get back before getting dark because we've been infrmed that Grab is hard to get from the place.
FYI, we walked out untill the bus station in front of a school named SMKA LAI TUN SAKARAN just because we didnt get any grab before that area.
Again, it is a memorable experience for the both of us.

Tampi - tampi, Semporna Sabah | What to Expect
Tampi - tampi is one of the attraction at Semporna Sabah. It is a public area to swim and taking pictures. If you don't want to swim, you can just enter to watch others and sit there while eating fast foods & snacks.
There are also resort place to stay just nearby if you would like to have night stay.
There are several food stalls and restaurants also.
For this video i'm showing the scene at the swimming area, and the price entrance is very cheap, it's just RM2 per entry.

Semporna Sabah
Semporna was founded soon after the British North Borneo Company established Sandakan, and initially settled by Chinese traders, most fleeing from Spanish attack on the Sulu Sultanate. The name Semporna means place of rest (as in Sanskrit sampoorna meaning accomplishment i.e. implying completion of a journey into a settlement) and was given after the British quelled resistance from the local Bajaus in the mid-1880s, changing it from Tong Talun. Another story is that Semporna was called place to settle or meeting place by four admirals -- Panglima Kabogan, Panglima Bum-Bum, Panglima Simunul and Panglima Abdullah.
The majority of the population is Bajau, many of whom live in sprawling stilt villages over the water on the outskirts of town. Also on the sea around Semporna live thousands of people of the Bajau Laut (also known as Sea Gypsies or Sama di Laut). They are one of the few nomadic sea borne peoples of the world and spend most of their lives from birth to old age on board boats, finding a livelihood from the rich coral reefs in the area. Only after death burial takes place on land.
Semporna is located at the tip of Semporna Peninsula around Lahad Datu Bay (also known as Darvel Bay), and is visited by tourists as a base for scuba diving or snorkeling trips to Pulau Sipadan (Sipadan Island), some 36 kilometers southeast of town.
Marine products are still the mainstay of the local economy, as well as tourism. Pearl culturing is a major component of this industry.
The in Semporna, Sabah, Malaysia. Lepa means boat in the dialect of east coast Bajau. In this festival, Bajau people decorate their boats with colorful flags.

A Day @ Sipadan Mangrove Resort with AshHayBrax!
Welcome to another video with AshHayBrax! This episode we took a day trip to Sipadan Mangrove Resort on Mother's Day! Sipadan Mangrove Resort is located in Sungai Burung. It is about an hour drive from Tawau, Sabah. For those who doesn't know where is Tawau, it is a small town situated in Sabah. Access to Tawau is fairly convenient as there are five direct flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau daily either by Malaysia Airlines or AirAsia. We hope you enjoy!
