An Bun Beag , meaning the small river mouth, is a small Gaeltacht village and townland in County Donegal, Ireland. It is officially the smallest townland in Gaoth Dobhair , but today the name Bunbeg is used to describe a large region of the parish. It is situated between Derrybeg and Dore and is home to many of Gweedore's amenities and businesses and local headers. There is a ferry service from Bunbeg to nearby Tory Island

In 1977, the Cara na Mara was towed onto the beach at Bunbeg in Gweedore. Since then it has become a landmark and has been featured in the music video for “In A Lifetime” by Clannad and Bono, it has appeared in Vogue Magazine and has become an icon in Donegal. The internet contains thousands of photos of Bád Eddie including many spectacular photos with the northern lights.
Recently, the boat has been badly damaged by the sea and where children once played, now a danger sign has been placed. Inevitably this has led to a debate about what the future holds for Bád Eddie.
