Bunes Beach in @Lofoten; the BEST beach in Norway ?

Bunes Beach, in the area Reine, is a beach in Lofoten Islands. This is one of the BEST beaches in Norway. On a lucky day, as showed in the video, you can have the whole beach by yourself.

The beach is situated in a bowl among the mountains, with Helvetestind on one side and Storskiva on the other.

This adventure is quite easy and can be done even when the weather is not perfect. It begins with a ferry ride from Reine village to the start of the trail in Vindstad, which is a great way of seeing more of the many mountains around the nearby Kjerkfjorden. If you do get a beautiful day, consider hiking the mountain Helvetestind as well.

The beach is perfect for tenting !

Overnight Trip to Bunes Beach in Reine / Norway (Lofoten). We took the ferry von Reine to Vindstad. From there it was a 2km walk. Make sure to hike to the top of the mountain to the right side.

Åkrasanden is just half an hour by car from the city of Haugesund - with sea that will make people think you're in the Caribbean, it's crazy to think that this beach is further north than the northernmost tip of Scotland!

The most populer and best beach in Norway those beaches are indeed quite nice. The sheer size of beach is amazing and you dont realize just how big it is untill you start walking across the white sand. The stunning view down to all beaches with mountains rising up all around is perhaps on the best views of Lofoten.

Kayaking Reine Fjords of Lofoten under midnight sun

We experienced the magical midnight sun while kayaking the Reine fjord, Bunesfjord and part of kjerkfjord on the way back in the Lofoten islands of Norway. The light and mood was nothing short of incredible!! We hiked to the bunes beach and saw the midnight sun almost going down the horizon and swiftly coming back up more spectacularly.

We have this thing to always do Champagnegaloppen when we open a beer using everything but a bottle opener. The bigger the bang the better the beer :)
